Actually, 'Love Aaj Kal' had a sad ending earlier. When Jai comes from San Francisco, he finds Meera pregnant with Rahul Khanna's baby and he just doesn't speak to her. He goes back. It was a bittersweet ending. I kept saying to Imtiaz that he should make it a happy ending."

Wow.....well that would have been a much better ending.....but the movie still lacked soul overall.....that was the main problem.

Bah ... it would've been better than the current one! To make a happy ending, they should've realized it much sooner ... and anyways the rest of the movie was a trash can, so the ending wouldn't have made much difference, except make me feel better that the institution of marriage still means something to people ;-)

Hi everybody!

LadyM, that's exactly why the first ending would've been better than the one they used. Besides, it's not like the audience (well at least the ones who didn't like the movie) was even rooting for Jai-Meera to get together. Jai should've moved on and Meera should've stayed with Rahul Khanna, hence teaching "aaj ki generation" the true meaning of love as well as commitment.

LMAO @ the AN promo. Look at Nikki's make up when she's yelling ... it makes her seem like a character from some horror film. :P

Lord, the SRK issue is still going on? I'm beginning to wonder what the outburst would've been like if he was ACTUALLY harassed by the airport officials. :/

Or Meera could just realise what a despicable person she was and go enroll in a convent, keeping her from ruining another man's life. That would teach the "aaj ka generation" to not be such total skanky, manipulative tools.

@AN: The lighting on her face does nothing to help. It was like tht moment from FRIENDS when Phoebe has chicken pox and unveils her face to show her lover and lightning strikes and scares the shit outta him... :P
