No one makes a big deal about them being "detained", but since it's a celebrity all this nonsense. Personally I take it as publicity for My name is Khan, which releases next year, but these people started the publicity earlier.

I don't dispute the fact that the incident may have occurred, but I also have no doubt whatsoever that this will be milked for ALL it's worth until 3 months after the movie has released. The media has no freaking life. No offense to fans of Indian media, but I seriously HATE them with their stalking of celebrities and all the worship of celebrities. Celebrities be it movie stars or cricketers need to be permanently kicked off news!! Instead I would like to see the politicians of our country on the news giving nice "excuses" and justifications why they are yet to do a damn thing to improve the state of our country.

The Indian media is one of the most foolish medias I have seen. They don't even compare to the cheap tabloids in the US. Credible and responsible journalism? What's that? We'd rather air the Kareena and Shahid kissing MMS, Rakhi Sawant getting kissed by Mika, Kareena's "size zero", etc, over and over and over than report some substantial news like the fact that there's a rape every half hour in the country and woman being killed every 75 minutes! 👏
