I want to speak to you further on this. I think I'll PM you, but here are my thoughts.

Note: I am not in any manner questioning your decision to give a warning. I respect that and I do realize you must have reasons, but I want to express my thoughts as a member of this CC & on behalf of many on here. In some ways you may question my decision to speak on everyone's behalf, but being a member for this CC over a period 7-8 months I know everyone quite well here.

No one from this CC has a problem with anyone. I think I want to make that clear. I can speak for everyone in this CC and say without a doubt that we do not have a problem with anyone.

I don't believe any of us from this CC created a specific topic with the intention to instigate members, rather I find members that make posts to instigate us. This CC gets stalked and reported daily & our words get reported. By words I mean we don't even get to speak much, and many of us literally restrict ourselves due to the rules of IF. We respect IF and we respect its rules.

Many members from the forum make indirect references at us calling us "negative" and what not, but I am yet to see anyone from the forum get a warning about this instead it is only the members of this CC that get a warning. NOTE: I am not in any manner questioning the Dev Team, but I am a confused and an upset member of this CC with this warning.

There are quite a few members that I can name from the forum who have been sarcastic, rude, and attack many of us on a personal level - these are the same members that visit this CC with the intent to report posts and they write "My feelings are hurt". How is it fair? A number of times members of this CC have been told not to watch a show, if we have a problem with it. Shouldn't this apply to others as well? If people have a problem with this CC, then they should simply stop visiting it. It's not like some of us even write "HORRIBLE SHOW" we write posts and we each state our reasoning clearly. Many times we do not even write things, and restrict our freedom of speech in order not to hurt anyone.

Also, it has been mentioned clearly on the first page of the CC that stalkers are not welcome, yet these members themselves chose to stalk the CC and continue to report posts. Their intention is to report posts on here. Can something be done about the people that abuse the use of the report button? I can already guess & predict the members that are reporting this CC - these are the members that use the "sarcastic" tone on many of us here labeling us with "baseless cribbing" when they themselves report & crib at us.

I think everyone from this CC respects others everywhere. I cannot remember a time when we have disrespected someone. As far as the comments on a favorite star - I don't mean to sound rude, but I restrict myself and so do many here, if we want to criticize someone, then we can certainly do it on a grand scale (with the accusations that are made on us - makes it sound we did it on a grand scale when we haven't at all), but we don't & instead chose to abide by the rules. We don't want to get banned and we do not want to lose out on this CC 😊

To be frank, Shruti, we are a simple group of members, who started interacting on the basis of a show. We come to this CC daily just to speak to each other and to discuss about the shows. We stay within our limits when criticizing a show, yet I am starting to learn that criticism is not at all welcome despite it being constructive criticism many members take it with the wrong approach. In some ways I made the huge blunder of thinking this is a space only for the members of this CC only, but I am starting to realize that is wrong to assume that this post is part of a public forum & this is not our space. We try our level best to abide by the rules - and our main priority is to stay within the rules, but if this continues many of us may leave IF permanently.

Finally, I assure you from now on after this warning I'll be careful with any posts I make in the future, if I do continue to make them.

Shruti, I'm unable to see why we got this warning note. Could you be more specific about what exactly we got reported for?? That way we can accordingly check our actions/words.

I agree with each and every word in your post and its safe to say that you have spoken on the behalf of every person on this very well.

@bold: Its not even a sarcastic tone, its a derisive tone. They simply TRASH our opinions and verbally attack our characters just because we do not agree with some points about a FICTIONAL show with them but they get away because we choose NOT to give them importance by taking offense n reporting them.
