That sounds like a great deal of burden put on your shoulders, Caro. He seemed to be reaching for something that wasn't there at all. You just happen to be quite the friendly person so he took it to another level. A level you certainly were not prepared for. But I am not going to lie, stirring up this pot, when so much time has gone past, does seem a bit risky in the sense that sometimes bygones should just be bygones. That being said as a former friend to the guy, I can understand why you feel like you have some obligation to put the chapter behind you and see if he is alright.

Roxy, no I didn't. Have been busy for the most part today. But I will be seeing it tomorrow or Thursday. Can't wait.:D

we hd some administrative issue with my underfrad in my senior year..some prof screwed up our grade sheets...and lets say I ahd to stand fr my transcript every single day fr nearly 4 months in an office trying all routes..that time I befriended this utter loner guy...all that he knew abt me was im a chilled joker(i see every guy have that opinion abt me..uggh)..so i was the only girl he spoke to ..in class.... since we had work everyday fr 4 months..we kind of developed this friendship...he shunned every friend who spoke a word against me.. and one point of time i ahd this huge gang of friends and he had only me..

he had emotional family issues... so i kind of accomodated him.. lets just say i was his emotional dumpyard.. it started getting to me seriously..

and somehow i just felt... he was getting a lil too close for comfort...the line between frienship and girlfriend was grossly manipulated... I couldnt deal with his problems....this perfect sadooo padakoo guy... was getting too close fr comfort..and i didnt like it.... i even heard lines like "sleep with me" which he didnt knw the meaning fr.....or so he said....

Because he just made me cry a lot ..i cut his friendship around a lil before new year....after gradually reducing contacts..dude i used to get 4 emails a day..fr goodmornign and stuff

he is in texas...........
nw my fav anna(bhaiyya) felt that I shud nt have cut off the friendship..and i shud give it a proper closure..we spoke abt this 3 weeks ago..and i finally shot off an email today..random email....

and he is being a pain in the a**e........................... hes like it is not important nw..we amde mistakes... never see...email.... i can point mistakes

i asked him to explain clearly and hes like it doesnt matter..😕

Interesting story. The part that intrigued me the most was the chaiwallas and the utter loaner. LOL! Ok, so from your side, it was just friendship, but he liked you?!? And what did he do to make you cry so much?! And what did he say in his emails that's a pain in the ass? 😲

umm lets jsut say one of my fav person on planet earth is madras..india..I adopted him as my bhaiyya...LOL
he asked me to recount all my friends in the US..and I missed this guys name...thrice..and hes like when u can call me in India every week and talk fr an hr..is calling austin that hard? I promised him i will take the first step..

this person...I was the only friend he had.... he kind of did everything fr me..stuff that I didnt ask for..and when i said I dont want it..he wud say..I do so much and u dont repect my sacrifices..

the other time..I didnt tell him i was purchasing a laptop..like after i came to teh US..he went and sat apparently in a notorious zone in austin and shoots me an email saying..he got upset because of me..and if he got mugged i would be responsible😕

hw does that sound..if i didnt tell him I went to the bank..i would be withholding information...lets just say..he expected too much..

but he had done so much fr me... and apparently he has cried when I didnt talk to him..i felt likt a total B8tch when i cut of all talks

his family is only his mother..single parent.. dad abandoned him when he was 4 or something.....and mother has made her life's mssion to work fr her son..lets jsut say..I was the one person who made him laugh... but I enver asked him to abandon all his friendship fr me!

From the sounds of it, I think you made the right decision. This guy sounds like he has too much emotional baggage, and if's dumping that on you, I don't really call that a healthy friendship. It's good that you lot were there for each other, but it sounds like he was emotionally blackmailing you (If I get mugged, it's your fault, blah blah).

the weord part was.... because he went all upset if other ppl talked to me..my other friends started giving him "SPACE"..like avoiding me if he is around...🤢
the worst part... 2 of my close frie ds..who drop me home..when i get really late..... this guy asked me or rather told me..that I go for guys with bikes and I would probably go with him if he had abike..👎🏼 the 2 guys stopped talking to this one..and then he says he doesnt understand what eh says...

his restricted childhood was an excuse fr everything he did..but he was an amazing guy.............too bad...i couldnt retain the friendship...

I sent out the usually hyper way i send emails..and hes like Good luck with life..I said i got ur tone if u dont wanna talk..im sorry fr everything I will nt cotact u again..but i really loved the friendship we nhad...
I get a very cryptic email on what was and what couldnt be..we never get abck the friendship..nobody needs to cry or restrain....bleh bleh bleh... and when i ask him to explain..hes like THIS(friendship) is nt important...
