@Gagan: We choose our words pretty carefully while criticizing but an unpleasant opinion will ultimately come across as one no matter what the tone or the words used. Here, we are being ordered not to dislike anything or voice our displeasure. Exactly how are supposed to react to people asking us NOT to think in a certain way? Like Sid pointed out, we loved the original characters of MN and when we do not like the way their characters are going we will obviously express our disconcert and target PD in frustration especially when we feel that we are not heard.

Tell me Gagan, you liked the recent promo but I am saying it was in a bad taste, am I offending you by saying that or are you offending me by liking the promo? Actually I have worse things to say about the promo but I chose to express that only on the CC and not on the forum because I did not want to hurt the people who liked it by saying it publicly. Now if they snoop on us to read our 'negative' feelings on the CC then should I assume that they actually like reading our 'negative' views?

And how on earth is Mappu Boy an offensive word? I am an MN fan too, whether or not I am considered as one by the others, so I will address my fave character with whatever nickname I want to, when they can call him Mayu, 'sex god' etc, I have every right to call him Mappu , Mappu Boy, Mappu Man or whatever I want to ensuring that I address him with harmless nicknames!

hmmmmm guys can i interrupt for a teeny weenie sec ... gagu am really sorry .... i dont have a right 2 b here

but jus one slight point : y do sum members keep asking other pple 2 quit watching da show .... n offcourse 2 not even post at da forum

i think u , me n anu v have gone through it once in da dmg forum n its quite demeaning

i personally feel everyone sud b left 2 dere own devices .... those who wanna praise it ... plz contniue doing it. . .after all u guys r njoying ... n those who rnt should b given an equal right 2 express dere dispelasure

y do pple forget that those who r unhappy with da track have been ardent Mn fans at one time ( dere posts wud vouch for dat fact )

i mean ok i can understand u guys getting upset if Sg dans r passing snide remarks ..... but y curtail Mn fans from voicing dere opinions

tomorrow If the track improves am sure no one will n more happy than these fans ...

n once again i apologise ... i dont think i have any business being here

Sana & others have agreed to not name you all and to co-operate as well..

So can we close this matter here?

-no name calling (positive or negative)

-criticism is allowed (no bashing and just a little bit careful with vocab)

- I will notify members if i feel something should not have been said.

-Mods will try to be lenient with discussions.

-Bashing will not be tolerated.

-Jannat is for everyone.

-Please do not tell others what to do.. for an example "quit watching the show"

-Jannat will be monitored more strictly then rest of the forum.

The issues that i am still unclear about I wil talk with other mods and get back to you all on that.

Dear Mods,

I would appreciate it much if someone would define the following 2 words for me. I do know what they mean, but I'd like to know how IF defines them.

CRITICISM & BASHING.

While you are doing a fantastic job at looking after such a huge forum with so many members, I'm a little disappointed with the fact that you could have done more to encourage constructive criticism in the forums.

The rules that are in place now somehow favor the ardent fans and discourage critics. It's important to remember that the critics are also fans! I'm not saying the rules were made to achieve that kind of result, just trying to point out what they ended up doing. Some people have misinterpreted the rules. As a result, I have become a 'guest' in the 'another' forum. It's the same old story and I believe my opinion is relevant.

Let's take a look at the topic here:

1. Why do members feel the need to go bash other members in Chat club?

2. Why do members create code words to discuss other members and make fun of them?

Very important questions, and we need the answers. But what exactly will these answers do? Is it going to solve the all the problems? I don't think so. IMHO, the highest priority for the dev team should be to allow diversity of opinion to flourish in all the forums.

If you want 'praise topics' to dominate the forums and don't approve of criticism, then please include it in the official rules. After that, there will be no more fighting because people will know what is allowed and what is not.

I've said it many times already - warning levels, banning, locking topics etc. are temporary measures. Of course you need to implement them, but I can see the fights have migrated from one forum to another. It's safe to conclude that it's not about any actor or show, it comes from lack of respect for other members, and also from not understanding what is allowed and what is not.

ok..a questions here....do v HAVE to report the bashing....or mods will see to it themselves....

one request for mods......i know u all can not b on IF all day....but plzz before giving any warnings or closing topics listen to all the sides of the story....b more direct....PM us.....ask y v have written a comment or a post....tell us whats wrong with our posts....clearly....sorry to say but the notes and the warnings given by mods r not clear sometimes.....or may b i m a bit lame to understand them properly.....so if not for everyone...kindly do it for me....

guys...here's a solution:

we need to agree on this:

if we see any post in our threads that blame or bash us, or tell us to "stop watching the show" - we report those posts! right away!

so that the mods know who was at fault, and they can decide as to close the discussion thread or let it be, knowing both sides of the possible arguments..

so who agreees?? report any post that is intended to mess up our discussions😊
