I agree with you both. My parents wanted me to only become a doctor, they still keep telling me that. It's like, what's wrong with psychology? I don't think any career is above another. It's just saddening how the desi community is and you've basically got no one on your side as a kid!

Zainu, do you not know about the epic feud/love triangle? Lindsay Lohan (back before she started becoming somewhat of a hot mess) used to date Aaron Carter for about a couple years. He then started dating HIlary Duff shortly after breaking up with LL. It was a big PR disaster with both LL and HD giving sorts of passive agressive statements and saying they had no problem with one another. I used to watch TRL when I was 13; don't judge me.

Actually Nimmy its other way AC dated hil first the he got bored with hil so he hooked up with LL and then he got back with hil and he cheated on hil with hil's BFF.
