Well, it could be that they just don't get along. Haha, I am from the Midwest too so maybe I get the Letterman sensibility the most, and I don't watch him regularly by the way. But I feel he can still bring the funny and give a guest the roasting if they deserve it. Maybe Tom and him don't get along. I guess the fact that Letterman doesn't pretend that he is going to take Paris Hilton seriously wins me over. Tom and him are pretty good friends. The episode was hilarious because Letterman asked Cruise to talk about his experience in Top Gun, and Cruise was telling a hilarious story, to the point that they both went ballistic with laughter. I thought Letterman would pass out, and Cruise was laughing so hard, that he spat in his face (unintentionally). Great interview! 😆 Has Letterman done an interview with Hilton?
Florida is full of contradictions. There are alot of crazy things that happen there, but the weather is indeed beautiful and I do love Disney World. But I do want to make it to Southern California and see all the sites one of these days with regards to Hollywood and where alot of bands I like got their start up in the Inland Empire/OC area. San Francisco's roads are indeed scary, and I have driven on them and have been scared for my life. Crazy things? Well, they did shoot Dostana. 😆 The OC area is absolutely gorgeous... I guess I just don't like Californians, but other than that, the state itself is beautiful. You've driven in San Fransisco?! And you're alive how? Don't tell me that you drove on the 'crooked street'...
But I love alot of states for alot of different reasons, I can't choose. Iowa was a place I spent a bit of time for, and I love it because you can't stereotype as this ignorant state in the middle of the country. People there were incredibly open minded and tolerant. Then NYC has Brooklyn and Queens, which have a special place in my heart for so many reasons. Which reasons? 😉 I'm not a fan of NYC. I used to love it, but other than Manhattan, I don't see the attraction. Seems like a 'dirtier' verson of Europe.
I have gone to both Quebec and Ontario, and I have loved both. Actually, I have told alot of my friends that I feel so comfortable in Toronto that I don't want to go back after week long trips in the summer of course. And I went to Quebec when I was 13, and it was quite a different experience. Culturally, it is just so different from the rest of Canada, which of course you already know. Eventually, I do want to do a Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver trip with the excuse that one of my best friends now does live in Seattle. Vancouver is absolutely GORGEOUS! It has beautiful weather all year round (save for the rains), but it's very reminiscent of California. I have not been to Quebec... I was actually planning to go to Montreal this summer, but let's see! Toronto is nice, but Canada in general is too boring. My heart is set in London (L)
