when ur night shift at the hospital.. its veryy hard standing up 12 hrs and maybe sitting for 20-30 minutes and thats it ....lol

i am a doctor's assistant. well i work for my aunt. she is Dr. and shes a anthesiologist... the hardest job. so i help her with vital signs of her patients and check sugar (diabetic patients), empty and help patients, ask them every 2-4 hrs if they need anything.

but its good pay. i get paid 13:60 an hr. and all nurses and techs (i am tech) have to work 12 hr shifts either day or night. i like nights better cuz the patients are mostly sleeping, and u only have to go check on the monitors every 2-4 hrs how they are breathing, whats their heart rate, respiratory rate, heart beats ok or not, and stuff like that.

&& plus im learning as i help and work. cuz everyday therz patients changing and new ones come in with new diseases or infections or whatever. i work in ER and ICU.

thats what im doing all summer, working and im taking a class in summer in college for 4 weeks.. its not till end of july though.
