Hello I am back, so I watched yesterday's JDJ and DID...and can I just say that I am so upset that Mayuresh is gone. I was so damn upset, I was expecting him in the final 3. He was by far my fav, together with Salman.
Though I loved Jai and Salman's yesterday's performance, they were simply mindblowing. Salman's contemporary was just awesome, his transitions from one part to the other was simply mindblowing. I loved Mayuresh, and normally, I don't care about reality shows, and rarely do I get attatched to the contestants, but DID is different. Mayuresh's exit made me teary eyed, and his exit speech was so humanizing and touching. Do you think he was hinting towards Sunita, when he plead the audience to take true talent forward? Either way, when he was dancing at the end, my heart sank! Such an incredibly talented performer. Jai was also incredible, and his performance was flawless. I'm not a big fan of Salman, because I feel that his performances have been in the same vicinity, and he lacks the versatility. Same could be said about Prince, but I'm extremely biased when it comes to Prince. Consider me a Prince 'peasant' 😆
Oh yes, have I told you that I absolutely love Terence...he is awesome. Can't wait to watch today's episode, which will air here 2mo. Join the club! Initally, I thought he was a raging homosexual, but his off beat dressing style has grown on me, and he just oozes with talent. Saroj and Farah Khan can learn a thing or two from Terrence. He's possibly the best judge on Indian Telvision. He always dissects a performance, not going by the face value, but always analyzing the technicality of the perf. I want hi and Saumya to hook up. 😉
JDJ- Rox I read your little analysis, and I agree with most of your comments, but I think HK wasn't so bad. Yes it wasn't par with some of her earlier performances. It definetly deserved lower than 29, may be a 27 would have been better. But I still liked her meringue, and some fab lifts. I guess I just expect a lot from Hard Kaur. She has been consistant since day one, and right now she's my favorite (along with Gauhar).
Baichung is an absolutely cutey pie, I love the guy, though his performance didn't deserve the marks that he got. He deserved it a may be 23 or something. He is still a bit stiff. But I LOVE HIM....squeal....fangirl is ready to come out. This is my problem with Baichung as well. He's shown a lot of improvement, but I still think he's very stiff, especially in the upper half. Did you watch last week's episode, where Kunal was teasing Baichung? 😆
Shilpa deserved more marks than what she actually got, she deserved more than 20, and yes definetly more than what Karan got. I was really disappointed with the judges comments. They were way too harsh on her...I was so not happy. They're judging her based upon the original song, how is that fair? They should look at the dance without any sort of bias, and with a fresh perspective. Comparing it to the original, or even to a creditable broadway show such as CATS is a crime.
Karan's performance, was a TOTAL phoos bomb...he looked way uncomfortable. His pants were too tight for comfort. So not liked it..rather not say anything. LMFAO, phoos bomb! You've caught on to the IC lingo quite fast. I agree with you on the pants, they were clearly hindering any sort of locomotion. Does he plan to have kids? 😆
Parul's performance was strictly ok...and Gauhar was good...nothing much to say about her.
In total the epi only ROCKED cos of one person...MY ARMAAN...AKA ALI ASGAR... he was BLOODY AMAZING..I love this guy...His Hema, Rishi, Raj and Aamir impersonations had me ROFL...HE was the JAAN of the show. I enjoyed the epi, only coz of ALI...and coz of the OLD songs..I love those songs...they are what you call CLASSIC..these are songs which will never go out of fashion. I AGREE! Actually, when Ali Asgar was on screen, it reminds me of his 'hui hui' 😆 Man, all those contestants from 'Hello Kaun, Pehchan Kaun' don't hold a candle in front of him. His Rishi and Amir Khan impression was tear inducing. I was gasping for breath, my god, he captured their mannerisms so well. I loved him from ZND days, and I, for one, think that whatever he did on the ZND finale was absolutely justified.
@Rox: Your comment about Aamir, totally agree with. He's my fav, has been since the time I knew what a crush was. I love him...😳I've had a mad crush on AK since Andaz Apna Apna.... especially the 'yeh Raath or Yeh Duri' song... with his topi. 😳
