Riya, the wig issue isn't a big deal for me. I agree that DMG's demise should not be blamed on Sukriti solely, as the storyline (or lack thereof) is still a major issue. You're right, she hasn't been given good material, but either way, she still does not fit into the character. Even when DMG's storyline was suffering with the Gulami track, at least Shilpa could still do justice to her character.

Each actor carries certain mannerisms, which cannot be replicated by any other actor. Shilpa's mannerisms is what made Ridhima, and unfortunately, even if Sukriti was given meaty scenes (and I believe she has), it doesn't seem like she's Ridhima. That's just how I feel!

See with suku, i agree.. maybe she wasnt given a good enough track, but the thing is that she couldnt fit into Ridhima's character the way Shilpa did... and this is NOT because shilpa can act better, its simply because their acting styles and mannerisms were different. Thats why creatives HAD to change ridhima's character to fit Suku's acting style.

There are many roles in this world where Suku can do a much better job than Shilpa, but "Ridhima" just isnt one of them 😕
