well if you took drivers ed and have a permit, then you can get your license after the road test when your 17. otherwise, you have to pass the road test and written when your 18. but the age thign differs btw state. here in NY, its 17 and 18 cuz we have major traffic in the city, so the whole state has to suffer😆 some states have it earlier, most have it as 16 for and 17 .
