CHAPTER TWO

Reyansh kapoor and kria bose . Two different personalities , two different culture and two families . Who thought hibsa machli can blend with butter chicken? One liked rabindra sangeet other grooved on bhangra songs . One was mishti dohi and other was lassi da glass . They both met at their office , fell in love and after dating of mere 3 months thought of marrying each other . For kria's family was shocked but accepted it soon but rey's big punjabi family kept chanting " haiii bangalan h? oh na ji na ? " .but rey was adamant he came out with an ultimatum that he would only marry kria bose or die a bachelor. His master stroke! ! Rey's mom initially thought "bangalan ne kala jadoo kr dia " but soon everyone in his family realized that he was too much in love ,so very next day they called kria and her family for a meet which ended up short and awkward nit picking of both the families.
Curent scene
-- after kria and her family left from rey's home, rey's mother spoke to his chachi - "oh pammi kudi to dandi h upar se uski ma to hame loud kendi khud to saare aise lgre the Jese washing powder ka add krre ho " . Interestingly pammi got no chance of speaking as dadi intervened and spoke - " oh patli to menu b bhot lagi jese inke yaha ghee milta hi na ho oh ye pind jaegi to chakkar hi kha jaegi " Rey's mom suddenly widened her eyes blurting -" oh haaa kudi ar uski family nu punjab leke chlte h thda jaan b jaenge punjab ki hote h ar sagai b wahi kr lenge "
Rey was pacing out from washroom when he heard this and interuptted them " bebe kya jarurt h punjab jane ki yehi kr lete h sb kch " To his disappointment his father said " oh chup o khote sahi kere h sab hame janegi ni to rahegi kse yaha ar wese b shadi to tri yehi honi h na " Rey can't help , he knew kria was an ocd person who get hyper easily and taking her pind was a major goof up idea .

In kria's home her dad ( shekhar ) was trying ti calm her mom ( smriti ) down who was uttering " mi "d"ra durg md"ra mat naa apatha" ( oh god i swear to durga ma these peoples are not like us ) Shekhar to sooth her down said " smriti tumaki stress na lo bas " Kria 's mom rushed to her room shouting - " You didn't see they called kiri patli and safed safed to us and their dishes oh duggaa " . Kria flunged on sofa and muttered in low breath " oh dugga this is seriously hard then i even thought " ..

The next few days both families interacted with phone calls . Pandit ji told the date of 1 Month later . but engagement was planned in one week and that too in punjab . kria's mom first refused but then she agreed only on 1 condition that after they return from Punjab rey nd his family is supposed to go Kolkata for the occasion of Durga Puja . They were leaving for Punjab tomorrow in the two cars . In all these hustle rey and kria didn't get the time to meet ,just phone calls and text were exchanged .
Rey was packing his stuff and asking his sister (neha) which kurta will suit him for sagai . Suddenly his cell starts vibrating he asked neha to pass the phone. Neha handed the phone to rey and went from the room singing " jana meri jana meri bipasha bipasha aaja main seekha du pyaar ki bhasha "
Rey understand that kria has called as he has saved her name as bipasha . he picked her call - " nomoshkar bipasha kemon achish " ( hello how are you ) kria giggled on the other side - "tum to bilkul bengali rey lgre ho " R - " ya i am learning it slowly slowly from you " K - " ok shuno main kese dresses rakhu kl k lie mtlb mko ma ne kuch dilaye h Indian clothes but you tell R- "kiri keep shorts ,minis ,LBDs ahh i just imagined you look so hottt in them " K - " ha ha ha very funny rey your pind aunties will slaughter me " R- " no baby mere hote hue koi tumhe touch krke dikhae " K- "acha i will send you the picture of my saree in whatsapp bye and don't forget to keep hand sanitizers bye love you " R -" ya miss ocd i have them already and tomorrow i will finally see you thank god chalo bye love you more than butter chicken " They both giggled and disconnected the call and again started to pack .
