CHAPTER 22
Arjun(played by Yuvraj Thakur of BFF ,Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan fame and Arjun was his screen name in Humse Hai Life)- The cute ,innocent yet dashing guy whose cuteness got the better of every girl. The most soft-spoken guy and loves his best friend Randhir.
Randhir(played by Param Singh of Sadda Haq fame and Randhir is his screen name)- The handsome ,hot hunk for whom girls die for. He has looks to die for and is a big-time flirt! He loves Arjun like his brother.
Randhir came towards them and asked Sharon ,"Hey there ,could you direct me to the VP's cabin?" he said passing a smirk.
Arjun saw Sharon irritated by Randhir's smirk and thought to jump in ,"Uh can you please help?" he asked sweetly turning to Taani.
"Ya sure." Taani being the helpful one guided them and just then something struck Taani. She turned to the gang half of whom were drooling on the two new guys.
"Guys what if these are the new entries?" she half-yelled totally terrified of the thought but more than her two people were furious.
Swayam and Rey had both forgotten their loss in Dance camp,the two guys made them insecure and they both shared a look which told the other ,"Dude ,we need to do something soon!"
"Umm hello ,are you coming?" Arjun came back patting Taani's shoulder. Rey was furious and was about to throw his hands away when Swayam stopped him.
Randhir and Arjun went along with Taani ,all the girls were drooling on the two guys but Sharon was really bubbling in anger.
Swayam glanced at her and then at Rey. He smiled slightly and mumbled ,"Angry Birds!"
Rey who was standing across him turned and gestured a What shrugging his shoulders. Swayam shook his head saying it was nothing.
The gang started moving forward when they heard a commotion closer to the Notice Board. One guy came reading the notice as if he had seen a murder.
"Ye ab kaunsa naya notice hai yaar?" Vicky asked fed up and Bharat continued ,"Koi loche wala hi hoga bhai log."
"Chalo dekh lete hain ,phir pata types chal jayega." Asshi suggested and everyone made way among the crowded students to see the notice.
"Oh Shit!" Rey and Swayam cried looking at each other. The notice had indeed been a bomb that had blasted on their head.
Later in the rehearsal hall
"Ye kya ho gaya?" Neha said totally distraught. She spoke like some typical Bollywood heroine and the boys couldn't help but laugh.
"Just shut up guys. Here we are in so much tension and tum log hans rahe ho?" Rey asked angrily and all stopped at once.
"Seriously sabse pehle na tum hi latkoge." Rinni said and all stared at her not understanding the meaning.
"Oh you mean fansi pe." Simmi asked smirking and Rinni said ,"No exams mein."
Everyone's faces again turned gloomy because Rinni had again talked sense. Suddenly Swayam got up with a smile and everyone was confused but then amar said something.
"Twayam thodi dalega ,usse toh sab kuch aata hai!" he spoke and everyone nodded turning sad again but Swayam went and stood in between.
"Guys group study!" he shouted and everyone was suddenly excited ,not because they could finally study but because they had a funfilled evening to look ahead.
"At my place." Rey announced getting up and hugging Swayam. Taani had still not returned , Rey went to search for her.
Swayam went across to Sharon and thought to clear out his insecurity regarding the new guys but then Sharon stared cursing them.
"Kya samjhta kya hai wo khudko? Sharon Rai Prakash se flirt kar raha tha. Idiot!" Sharon murmured not knowing about Swayam's presence beside her.
"Aur kya ,Sharon Rai Prakash toh sirf Swayam Shekhawat ko flirt karne ka license deti hai." Swayam tried to cheer up her mood and said all this smiling.
Sharon was oblivious of everything in front of her anger and spoke,"Yes ,very correct. You are smart."
Swayam was beaming now while Sharon finally came to realize who was standing with her. She made a face of getting trapped and tried to sneak away.
But before that Swayam held her hand and took her out of the rehearsal hall. He pinned her to a corner and smirked at her innocent form.
"Kabhi kabhi tum kitni innocent lagti ho Sharon!" he said totally lost in her and she encircled her arms around his neck.
He was shocked seeing the change in her mood. "Really Mr. Shekhawat ,should I show you my other side?" she asked whispering.
"Ms. Unpredictable. Mujhse kafi kuch seek rahi ho." he said and she winked at him before leaning in to kiss him.
Suddenly her phone started ringing. It was Taani's call ,she had called urgently.She asked Swayam to stay but he wasn't gonna listen to her ,so he followed her.
As soon as Taani cut the call ,she felt a hand grasping her wrists. She was frightened but as soon as she landed in a familiar pair of arms she smiled.
"Taani ,I missed you." Rey said hugging her tight ,he didn't want to lose her and the new guys were making him insecure again.
"Aww Rey but it has only been a few hours you know." Taani said caressing his back , she loved his calm presence beside her.
"Taani you know exams are starting." he said calm and as expected taani burst out panicking. She broke the hug and went on mumbling.
"Hey Krishna ji. Exams!!! Maine toh padha hi nahi hai kuch ,main fail ho gayi toh Rey?" she fired questions at him.
He smiled and said ,"Oho meri Taani ,you won't fail ,there are your friends to help ,your Rey to help !"
She understood and rested her head on his chest. He wrapped his arms protectively around her and said ,"I won't let any harm touch you ever."
Her glance shot up hearing him say so. She was confused as to why he said so , she stared into his eyes and found a fear in them.
At once she tiptoed closer to him and cupping his face pecked his forehead. He closed his eyes taking in the surreal feeling.
As she stood smiling at him ,they were lost in each other ,they heard a coughing sound. Sharon was standing smiling evily.
"Chalein Taani for the important meeting with VP sir?" she asked and Taani nodded not meeting her gaze. Sharon giggled and poked Rey before entering the cabin.
Taani followed her and suddenly Rey felt a hand on his shoulder. Swayam was standing there and they both peeped inside to hear the talks.
"So Taani this is your new AGS Arjun and Sharon this is your new ACS Randhir." VP announced and outside Rey and Swayam gritted their teeth.
"Umm so well ,I will advice you to talk with your new partners as soon as possible." he spoke and ReYam fined in age at the mention partner.
"Sir but we are having exams after a week. We need to study and as you know being dancers we already are very much behind our courses." Sharon said boldly and without hesitation..
"Siren Sharon!" Rey whispered laughing but then saw Swayam throwing daggers through his eyes in a certain direction.
It seemed that seeing her Siren avatar not only Rey but also Randhir was quite impressed and was smirking looking at her.
"I am gonna kill him." Swayam cursed and Rey spoke ,"Oh wow man ,Swayam ke andar ka Mogambo jaag gaya."
Swayam glared at him and they concentrated back on the scene inside. Arjun was saying something now.
"But sir ,even we need to give exams and we are lagging behind." Arjun put forward his problem and VP contemplated on it.
"Let's do this. Taani and Sharon will help you both out." he suggested and Rey and Swayam just wanted to pull the VP's hairs but soon they realized he didn't have hair.
"But Sir how can we?" Taani started to say but VP was adamant and added ,"You both are excellent students ,I am sure you will guide them best."
Taani and Sharon moved out of the cabin dejected while ReYam saw all still hiding. Then Sharon turned to Arjun as she was already irritated with Randhir.
"We are having a group study session tonight. I'll text you the address ,you can come along." she said giving her no. to him.
Swayam and Rey looked at each other not liking the fact that there were two intruders in their plan now but what they heard next made their eyes pop out.
"I think I like that fiery girl." Randhir voiced out while Arjun said ,"And I liked the cute ,innocent one!"
