CHAPTER 20

Rey and Swayam shared a look and then helped KD and started pulling Taani up. Taani was losing KD's hand when Rey held her.

She stared in his eyes and the next moment she felt another pill. Swayam had held her too and suddenly she was sure nothing would happen to her.

They pulled her up and Swayam started stroking her hair lovingly as she kept on crying ,she had never expected her best friend to do this to her.

Rey left Swayam to take care of her and turned to Kiya like an angry lion ready to punch on her.

"How dare you?" Rey asked holding Kiya and shaking her forcefully. KD looked on ,down the cliff and tears escaped his eyes.

The whole gang came running in to see Swayam on his knees and Rey shaking Kiya. They saw Taani beside swayam shaking and crying uncontrollably.

Sharon ran to taani and pulled her in a hug while the gang looked on at the scenario not understanding anything that was going on.

"I will kill you for doing this to my Taani." said Rey ,his eyes blazing red and if it had not been for Swayam intervening he would have killed her too.

"Hume pehle taani ko medical room le kar jaana hai Rey." Swayam advised and Rey nodded. Swayam picked taani up in his arms.

After sometime

Everyone is standing outside medical room. A hundred questions going on in their mind ,and answers stood only with Taani.

All were concerned for Taani's health and didn't even think of asking KD what had happened ,what was his role ,they just wanted her to be well.

The doctor came out and they rushed to him."She has a bit of weakness ,that's all. You can meet her." he said and they ran in.

"Taani tum theek toh ho na?" Simmi asked and Taani just nodded smilingly. She saw everyone had tears in their eyes.

"Oho guys itna melodrama mat Karo. She main theek hun and aap sab mera awesome plan nahi janna chahte?" she asked trying to divert their attentions.

"Kya plan; to kill yourself and leave us alone?" Rey voiced out his fears with an angry tone and she shook her head.

"No plan to bring Kiya down with KD's help." she said and as expected all were stunned hearing her reply.

"WHAT!!" they all shouted in unison and looked at KD who was still looking guilty but had a small smile on his face.

"It all started when you all got to know Kiya was targeting Sharon and to hurt Sharon she would reach one of you three." KD started pointing at Taani ,Rey and Swayam.

"Uss time pe ,I knew only KD could help as he was closest with Kiya." Taani continued and remembered how she had tried to convince KD but he had denied.

FLASHBACK

"KD believe me. Kiya doesn't love you ,wo ab bhi badla lena chahti hai." Taani said trying to make him understand.

"No aisa nahi hai ,she loves me. She is over Swayam now." KD said trying to justify his points but taani was adamant.

"Theek hai tum kiya ke saamne jao and just say nonsense about me and Rey. Say you hate us for betraying you and uska reaction dekho." taani told him while he nodded.

PRESENT

"Main gaya uske paas and pretended all this and I was shocked to see the hatred in her heart for Sharon." KD confessed.

"KD Ko pta chala ki kiya ne usse pyaar to kabhi kiya hi nahi." Taani said feeling sad for him while Swayam put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Then as per my plan Kiya had chosen me as the target." said Taani and everyone stared at her in disbelief while KD shook his head.

"This was something ,I got to know later too. Taani ne mujhse uski buraai karwayi and Kiya got an easy target in her." KD answered.

"But why did you do this; is something I didn't understand?" Sharon asked and Taani being the caring one she had always been said something similar.

"Kyunki I didn't want that kiya ki wajah se bhai ya Rey ki performance kharab ho but end mein meri vajah se hi ho gayi." she said unhappily.

Rey was hell angry listening to her and was about to snap when Rinni asked ,"Phir kya hua?"

"Phir everything went as per plan ,Kiya believed me ,I helped Taani and we went in front of her but then.." KD was speaking but was stopped by taani.

"But then bhai aur rey aa gaye and I was scared for them." Taani said and all narrated the remaining story to the gang.

They told them how Kiya had called Rey and Swayam through messages there to trap them as well ,how Taani had fallen and they had saved her.

"There was a big loophole in your plan though. What if KD had betrayed you as well?" asked Swayam and taani was about to deny when KD spoke up.

"Correct! You are right Swayam. I could have backstabbed her but then Taani doesn't know the saviour she had in disguise." KD smirked and winked at all of them.

"Saviour? Kaun??" Taani asked and KD pointed to Sharon. Sharon smiled and all looked at her shocked at the sudden change in events.

"So I had known ki taani was planning all of this but I couldn't have her trust hampered by KD so I thought to warn him that's it." Sharon replied in a carefree tone while KD laughed.

"Oh ya warn him only. She threatened me people ,that she will kill me if I break Taani's trust." KD said and Taani smiled.

"You are really lucky Rey and Swayam to get such caring girls." he said and ReYam just nod their heads ,no expression on their faces.

All hugged taani and sharon one by one except ReYam. They were still pissed off at them for hiding everything and so Swayam went out without sparing a glance while everyone left Taani alone with Rey.

Sharon followed Swayam while Taani saw Rey all grumpy and angry at her. They both had a task on their hands ,they and to manofy their angry bfs in their own charming ways.

Taani saw him standing without sparing a glance at her and felt bad hiding it from him. She wanted to get up and hug him but she couldn't due to her weakness.

Other side Sharon followed him and he kept walking ahead knowing very well she was behind. She knew she had to need some trick to make him talk.

She called out his name and he looked up. She smiled and he averted his gaze away without acknowledging her smile. She felt bad and thought of some plan to get him to listen to her.

She signalled towards the water glass and Rey bent forward to give it to her but she held his hands and pulled him towards her. He was startled by her sudden bold move but the way her hair were flowing made him lose all his anger.

He cupped her face and leaned forward and kissed her forehead lightly making sure not to hurt her while she smiled whole-heatedly knowing he had forgiven her.

Sharon meanwhile held his hands but he jerked her away. She was stunned seeing his anger ,always she had been the angry one and he had cooled her hot head but today she was finding him a hard nut to crack.

She decided to make his weakness work and shouted "Ouch" making him turn abruptly. He ran back to her seeing her on the ground yelping in pain.

She winked at him seeing his concerned face making him aware that she was just playing with him. He started going away getting more angry when she held his hand and placed a kiss on his cheeks. A smile spread on his face and she hugged him.

The D3 gang and the lovers were back to their cheerful self and all was like a happy paradise. The college awaited them along with the new adventures their lives were about to witness.
