First Taani is introduced as a bubbly character with a overall optimistic view of the world. However as she experiences the hassles of college life and the obstacles that come with trying to find a place for oneself in college life, she undergoes many personality changes. She tries to find a place for herself in the D3 team, to fulfill the basic human need to belong and at the same time try to achieve the love of the man of her dreams. Circumstances occur such that it makes it even harder for adjust to college life, making it harder for her to decide between right and wrong, as she is thrown into a world where things in life are not only black and white, but grey too. Maybe, where she lived before she hadn't experienced similar circumstances(such as peer pressure like during the GS issue) or maybe she had fit right in (such as many do when they have gone to school with the same people throughout life, from elementary to high school life, as often occurs in a small town) in her previous place of residence. Whatever the case may be, her personality changed rapidly, as is possible when one feels overwhelmed by a situation. However, when CVs decided to take Taani out of the show, so she can go and study further, I had initially thought that Taani had made this decision in order to find herself, find her identity! Or at least that's how I perceived her exit to be.
Now that Taani is back, and she seems to be marrying her childhood friend, it still doesn't seem like she has moved on from Rey. This can lead to many people getting hurt, if she indeed still loves Rey. I hope that she has finally found out who she is as a person, what her identity is, because in the end that is what may help her make the right decision (whatever that may be), hopefully a decision which will lead to the least amount of people getting hurt.
--I just wrote this because I am very confused about who Taani is as a person, what her characteristic (personality) is like , because as I explained above it seems like her personality may have changed, maybe she became more confident in herself. If she did hopefully she is marrying the guy because she indeed is happy with him, otherwise that would lead to both of them getting hurt in the end. Overall, I am confused, because I have tried to understand her character throughout the show, as it sheds light on her decisions ( and why she makes them). ...Basically I am ranting my confusion out to you guys...
