Heya, guys.
M writing after way too long.
Its an OS on Swaron (tanha, plz)
Its nothing too serious, I guess you figured that out from the title.
Well, enough of my bak-bak.
Here it is.

"The weather's nice..."
"Yeah..."
"So hows the meet coming along..??"
"Oh, its getting planned.."
"Hmmm..."
Beep.
I get a msg on my phone.
"Dude, you so gotta be kidding me..who talks to his girlfriend about the weather and the meet at their first date?? Be a man. Come on..I know you can do this.."
It was Rey's msg.God!! Will everyone just leave me alone. I am trying my best here.
Ok, lets face it considering that this is my 1st date with Sharon since we got into relationship, I should make the first move here since m the guy, but its just not fair that all of the guys were watching over us as if we were the most engrossing film and expect me to be comfortable with it.
They had insisted over coming with us because I would Freak out (as if I wasnt already). I told them this would drive Sharon over the edge if she got to know abt this, and well, their reply should have been,
"Dude, u r so right..!! "
But instead their was,
" Dude, do you think we have lost our mind. Obviously, we'll hide out and check over."
I and Sharon were out for some work for the college and when it was lunch we decided that lets go to the nearby Restaurant, well, she decided ( I wouldnt ever suggest this kind of idea.) And I replied, "well fine, as you wish babe." (She liked it when I called her that.)
So I msg'ed the guys abt it and the rest is history.
The first thing I did after getting settled was to ask her abt the weather (how stupid of me) on which she had rolled her eyes to herself. Fair enough.
"So, whatchaya wanna eat??" Sharon asked while looking at the menu.
"Uhh... whatever you want."I replied.
Beep.
Here goes another one. Mann!!
"Nice move, dude. See I toldya its all there in you, and you underestimate yourself."
"Swayam, please can you stop playing with your phone and help me decide here, m starving like hell." She said while frowning a bit.
"Ofcourse..!! "
Then she looks at me, pauses searching my eyes for something and then her eyes turn soft and she smiles.
"What?? " I ask her.
Then she blushes a pink and replies, "No, its just that I am thinking how our roles are switched right now."
My eyes melt at her smile," Why would you think so??"
"Swayam, I may not be as perspective as you are but its kinda written on your face that you are just so nervous and I on the other hand is quite comfortable." She stiffles a laugh as cough but I am not fooled.
"Yeah, Yeah.. your boyfriend's a dud.. you can laugh.." me myself smiling at the stupidity.
"No, no, you are just fine." Now she laughs without even attempting to control which tells her sarcasm.
Then she stops and looks into my eyes and says," Swayam..!! You know you dont see yourself clearly..."
"Neither do you..!!"
We hold each other's gaze, when.
Beep.
Sweet mother of god. Rey is so dead.he just ruined another perfect moment.
"Dude, what do you understand by 'Be a man.'"
I look up to see sharon looking everywhere but me...
Obviously feeling awkward at how she trying to be normal while I am busy texting.
"You know now I get it what did you mean by the switched roles. Look at you trying to make me normal."
I tease her and she says in mock anger,"Yeah, look you cant even do 1 job right."
We laugh at our situation.
Beep.
"You getting it finally, eh?? ;) "
"Swayam, I can understand if you would prefer texting over lunch with your girlfriend." Sharon says in her steel voice, sarcasm leaking out.
"M Sorry Sharon, its just..."
"Its what, Swayam?? That m trying to be all chatty while you are busy texting. Tell me, what should I take it as?? I know you are quite anxious but so am I but I am TRYING here. Unlike you.!!"
She was mad now, why wouldnt she be with me acting like a ignorant-do-not-want-to-chat-with-you kinda guy.
But these ppl wont stop texting me and he-
Beep.
"Look, just look. Here's another one. I am so done."
She gets up, takes her bag.
"Sharon, please sit down, I'll explain it to you. Just sit down."
"Enlighten. Me. Please" she says with gritted teeth.
"Look, babe, its...its my..its my mum. You know how she is. Asking me about things. You know I would never ever act like an ignorant guy. You know me, sweetheart."
She stares at me flr long. Well probably glaring not staring.
Then exhales.
"Okay. I understand."
"Thank god" I mutter under my breath.
"But I need to go."
"Seriously, something came up. I need to leave." She explained when I started protesting.
"Fine,I guess. With the way I have behaved today, I deserve it."
"Deserve what??"
"That our first date gets ruined."
"On the contrary, I think that this episode will let you owe me a good behaviour on all of rest of our dates." A smile in her voice.
"Trust you with it and you'll always find the bright side. Thats what I love the most about you."
"Gee, thanks."
"Yeah, the weather's nice."
She laughs. This was my first line. But look at the situations they were said in.
Sigh. This kind of conversation should have taken place.
And she takes off.
Before I take the next peaceful breath, my gang walks in at our table.
All glaring. Weel, I should be doing that. What the heck is wrong with these mad ppl.
Then the questions fly out.
"What is wrong with you?" "R u mad.??" "U just let her go.??" "This is how you act on your 1st date.?"
"Stop. Just stop. How the hell does you guys even have the nerve to ask me these questions..??" I practically yell at them.
Rey archs his eyebrow.
"We just tried to help you here, man. And here you are being thanful is not your priorty 1 but you yell at us. Wow, great going , dude." Rey teases with a stupid grin on his face.
In other circumstances, I would have explained myself. But right now I was too angry to brush ofc there petty allegations. My anger would have been well too obvious because the next instance, the atmosphere changes. Light teasing is changed into seriousness.
"Ohk.. fine...we were just pulling your leg. But we totally understand your gussa." Vicky replies.
"Do you??"
"Yeah..!! I meanwe asked Rey to stop texting.." nilesh starts to clarify himeslf.
"Oi, I cant seem to remember u asking me to do that rather than making it worse.!!" Rey states, while nil askes to him stop. Avoiding getting me more angry. Good call.
"Fine, whatever." I start getting up.
"We are really very sorry, bhai. Seriously." Bharat explains.
I exhale.
"Bhai, cut us some slack, we were just trying to help you there, man!" Nil being guilty now.
"Hmm..!! I for all help you every other way to get you your girls while you on the other hand.."
" swayam..sorry..we'll help you make it to your Sharon.. just please..sorry.." Rey says.
"Great, because you guys owe it to me now..!!" I give them half a smile telling they are forgiven.
They sigh in relief as if I was one of their teacher they were scared to make angry.
We start to walk away, when I hear..
"Pay up..!!" I guess nil says.
"Ohk, fine you win.!! I guess I put too much faith in swayam..!!" Bharat grumbles.
Nil laughs," Toldya, even the most smartest of all of us, swayam, cant handle a girl in anger on his 1st date..!!"
Wow!! Cant believe, they were making bets on my fight with sharon..!! Just Wow..!!
