Judging by the precap which was shown before I was expecting lot worse and to be honest I would have supported Sharon then too. Swayam's dad had it coming. But I can see where the problem is arising. The main issue is the scene was really short and it really touched the surface of the main issue before the conversation ended. For such scene to have major impact this conversation should have been longer but sadly it was not the case. But somewhere I understand why Cv's didn't do that because ultimately it have to be Swayam who had to show his dad error in his way. So couldn't complain much about the scene. And about the upbringing part - honestly don't want to put my honest opinion so i will skip

Lol! i think its ok to skip that part.. that wasnt the main purpose of this post either!
Whatever it was there was something not quite right with the scene.. Wud prefer sharon throwing lines at him that would provoke thought and make him think about his uncalled for attitude regarding his son and not make him ponder on her attitude or diva image..! Lines that make him realise the seriousness of her passion and disposition towards dance.. But i do hope that the CVs don't scramble her track regarding dad shekhawat.. I hope they give these two better scenes and obviously after a point its swayam who'l take over but till then Sharon should be giving it back to him... but in ways that actually helps him gain a better perspective.. and not make him label her as an arrogant youngster..

Good post.
Not just her dialogues, cvs have destroyed Sharon's characterisation as well. She is no longer the SRP who they started the show with. While I understand that she has matured, every person has an inborn personality that doesn't change.I thought the cvs had learnt their lesson when they had Swayam tell Sharon that he doesn't want her to change but apparently i was wrong.
Sharon was different and we loved her for that, she was real.
She is now becoming ideal and we are not able to relate her to the scenes. This is not how we expect our SRP to react to such situations hence her not-so-showdown with Shekhawat Sr left us disappointed.
Cvs need to re-watch all the episodes from the beginning to know how badly they are messing these characters up.
