Why Taani fans are "enraged" with the "audacity" of non-Taani fans talking about Taani and not just talking but criticizing her.
The bashing posts, by all means go ahead and tell them they are wrong (IN A CIVILIZED MANNER-ALL FANDOMS) but if someone makes a critical statement on a character please--pipe down! They have the right and as long as they are not hurting anyone (by law) or bashing/being nasty (by IF rules) and solely just critiquing then it's fine! And I am not going to bother discussing if any of the posts (retaliation or not aka Taani-fan-made or Sharon-fan-made) were right or wrong. That really isn't my point here.
So here, because I have the right and am doing in in a civilized manner, I will share my two cents.
Taani for me, she seems a tad bit immature compared the other leads (Rey, Swayam, and Sharon). She is impulsive (what teen isn't). But the frequency of her impulsive and not thought-out actions is pretty high at least as of now.And she's not drastically younger than the trio either.
She has her good transition from teen-to-adult moments as every teenager does but for me, she still has growing up to do (getting over break-ups, prioritizing properly, making rational decisions, looking at the bigger picture in situations).
The precap- I don't even know. After today, the cruel game the creators played with me (forehead on head) I shall never trust a precap again. There I was in my happy spot when the "proposal" played through and then it turned out to be a daydream -.-
WHY?!?
Alright well that's not the point of this post so moving on...
From what I saw- Swaron talking at the Tau-Ji, I am not so against it.
With all due respect to elders and their experience with life, I strongly believe one should not blindly follow tradition, which includes not speaking back to elders even if they are wrong. I think it's our responsibility to correct these elders whenever they are wrong no matter how stubborn they can be
He was being irrational and incompetent guardian from the looks of the precap.
But again I don't know if I should trust it. This was just my thoughts on the outrage I saw when people where arguing about Sharon's values because she appeared to have talked back to the Tau-Ji.
Again you may disagree with what I have to say. You may disagree with all of it in fact. Taking into consideration that there was nothing uncivilized here, disagreeing with my point of view doesn't give you the right to stop me from saying what I have to say or starting a war because you disagree with it.
