Agree with TM 100 percent. I mean why should taani lie for the gang. The gang has never been taani's friends.

The main thing is taani doesnt know about the dance event while she talks with VP. She knows about rey and hence she lied...if she know about the team there may be a possibility that she may lie for them also ( willingly or not is secondary)

coming back to the question the team expected taani to lie is not fully wrong as they even helped her in rey's issue

Gang doesnot take Taani seriously n did not tell her where they were, so why would Taani lie for them?

Taani sent Rey for personal work, and instead questioned gang about their professionalism. So gang would expect Taani to cover up for them, when she is at fault at the first place.

Coz as a gs she cannot be biased nd if she is she doesnt deserve to b d gs! Nd sharon's main prob was tani ne swayam ko inta free ka lecture dia, usne rey ko dia tha ya nehi? ndc s a professional work nd shareyam r gang part if u save one u ought to save all
