So basically Taarey's fandom reaction was more because of frustration because of taani's screen space. So it was more circumstances because of which we doubted Rey's love.
Although since shivam and taani fake relationship i knew very well that he loves her a lot, a lot, a lot. Like in the dance camp he said this line for the first time just because he couldn't be with Taani "Pehli baar GS hona miss kar raha hoon..."
And the time when no one was at taani's side, after food fight, he was with her indirectly.

And agar hai bhi toh, as you said, Taani and Rey both have done it... Not once but many many many times... THey have proved ki how much they love each other.. How incomplete they are without each other.. So, the ppl who say ki Rey needs to prove his love for Taani, those ppl are totally wrong!! Aur waise bhi, Jab Taani Rey hai raazi, toh kya karega kaazi??!!
