Dil Dosti Dance is referred as first danced based show of Indian television. Its official page describes its plot as - 'We all have dreams and aspirations. But not all dreams become reality and not all aspirations change destiny. And the road is filled with hurdles. In D3 aspirations begin and end with DANCE. Follow the journey of these individuals as they overcome the hurdles that stand in their way.'And true to its theme D3 sticked to its dance based narration of the story where every emotion and relationship whether its love, friendship or envy was shown through dance. Hell they once took an entire gang through dance.
This format was a big risk but it became a big hit. Most of its credit goes to creatives, director and most important the cast of the show. There was an undeniable charm in each of the 12 members and not to mention their dancing talent that we felt connected to them. We may have our favorite pair but when it came about gang we rooted for everybody. And gang reciprocated our faith with some killer dance performance and awesome hilarious on screen chemistry. They have always manage to strike a chord with us. And we couldn't help but cheer for them.
Creatives always manage to incorporate its main theme dance and how its a major aspiration for these guys and how they over come various hurdle which life present before them to achieving their goal in inspirational way. But lately somehow this theme was lost from the show due to one reason or other and the gang member where just used as filler and doing promotional stuff. But from one month now its inspiring to see dance returning in the show in a big way.
And thanks to it character like Nilesh, Ashi, Simmi, Neha, Vicky, Rinni, Amar, Bharat getting their due. And not just as dancer but as actors too with some substantial story line. Its really good to see a story line where important issues like whether dance is viable option as career is shown through these guys. And these guys are doing impeccable job in showing the fear, confusion and uncertainty about their future. And in meanwhile this track has showed some another dimension of their friendship which is just touch wood. Whether it was gang trying its best to persuade Sharon become the captain, or feeling sad on learning that their friends have been denied permission to perform at India fest or laughing at the pathetic attempt of that newbie of creating divide. Everything is just fantastic. And add to it the recent event of gang coming to Goa to help their friends. Friendship have been never been portrayed better.
Thanks Cv's for such an incredible track where D3 has returned to its root and the 12 members are doing fantastic job and finally getting their due. Looking forward to see more such dance based track where main theme of D3 is being justified.
