The confession
Rey was surprised for once. This time his jealousy was at the minimum, because he couldn't help but be surprised at Taani. He knew that she was so innocent and trusting, but as he gets to know more about her, he was surprised. Why did she care so much about him when she is in relationship with Shivam? And whenever Shivam even touched her, her face fell and she looked so irritated. Why? Just why? It was not the first time he has noticed this, but he had always thought that it was his imagination, because he didn't like if any boy even touched her.
But now he was sure that something was there, that he didn't knew. The problem was that whenever he tried to ask Taani about it, she would change the subject. And the second thing was that sometimes he was so lost in her pure and beautiful eyes, her expressions, her innocence, in her, that he couldn't remember what he wanted to ask her. He couldn't remember his own name so how was he going to ask her this? He sighed again: Oh, Taani. Then again tried to focus on the dance rehearsals.
He was at home, rehearsing to get a clear mind. But couldn't concentrate even on dance for once. Her smiling face always came in front of him and……
Vicky appeared with coffee then. He saw Rey again irritated and trying hard to focus. He had never seen Rey this much agitated before. He smiled and said,
V: So….
R: (snapping out of it) hmm?
V: Coffee
R: Ya, thanks
V: So, Taani strikes again haan?
R: (totally shocked) what? What did you say?
V: Well, if even when she is not in your sight, you can't stop thinking about her, you should talk to her na?
R: (mouth open) what? What are you talking about Vicky? (Then) Are you out of your mind?
V: (standing up) Not me. You are, my friend. You are in love with Taani, aren't you?
R: What? What rubbish? How can you…
V: Cutting him off: Relax Rey, you think I don't know. That I don't notice. Come on, I know you. And I know that you love her. There is no point in denying it. Remember, I know you the best.
R: (shocked but then sighs) hmm fine you win. But when did you notice this?
V: Well, you know Vishakha used to taunt you about Taani, but I thought maybe she is reading too much into the matter. But since she and Shivam are in the relationship, I have been seeing so many signs from you.
R: (hmm I thought I was hiding it.) Whatever.
V: Rey, Are you okay?
R: Do I look okay to you? Every time I try to concentrate, I keep distracting. And it doesn't help that Taani is with Shivam.
V: Oh come on dude, how hard it is going to be for you? I mean you are like a girl magnet. Grab her na. No girl in their right mind will look at chee vam when Reyansh Singhania is standing.
R: Oh shut up okay? I am stressed already.
V: Okay
R: Hey, but just do me a favor and don't let Swayam know about it okay? Or he will kill me. He is so protective towards her, it's scary.
V: Okay fine dude. But keep your mind straight now haan. Swayam and others will be coming any minute.
R: Ya dude come on I need to freshen up.
All the dazzlers and weaklings gather at Rey's house plus Taani. They are there to party after their success of Dance camp. All the girls are in the kitchen preparing the food and all the boys are doing time pass. Girls are having fun and then all the boys get bored without the girls and food and one by one slump on the couch.
Nil: Yar men, how much time do the girls require, for everything?
Amar: packing ke liye
Nil: Dressing up ke liye
Swayam: Hamari bat samajhne ke liye
Vicky: Or sabse jyada khana lane ke liye. Are kagu kitna time he yar abhi? Bhukh lagi he.
Neha from the kitchen: Abhi start mat karo han babu tum. Hame madad to karte nahi or order kar rahe ho
Vishakha: Exactly guys this is not done
Rey enters: Hey guys whats up?
Everyone: Hi Rey (Rey is looking great in black)
Rey's eyes immediately go to her. Taani and the girls are talking and laughing and Rey keeps looking at her. Feeling his gaze, Taani meets his eyes and smiles. Then both snap up and then girls start preparing.
Swayam: Wese manana padega, sari ladkiya he badi beautiful han. But none more that Sharon.
Amar: He sab se jyada cute to meri Linni he
All boys start on the subject with fun and all.
Nil: Sab se jyada sexy to meri Simmi he. Par han tumhari waliya bhi thik thik he. Hmm Taani bhi yar. Yar pehle kabhi notice nahi kiya. Hot he yar.
Swayam: Hey hey guys watch it, wo meri sister he yar.
Nil: Han han teri behen he na hamari to nahi. Tu chal kan bandh kar. Yar he to ladki hi na. Sale us shiritating ke sath na hoti na to usko koi bhi mil jata.
Rey and Vicky change looks and Vicky sees that Rey is looking murderous.
Vicky: Nil yar chodna. Are me kya bol raha hu? Kitne din ho gaye, fight ke bad mene meri deewani ke sath waqt hi nahi gujara. To kyun na aj ham sab apni apni girlfriends (all the boys starting shifting a bit), are means apni apni friends ke sath akele time spend kare. Kyun kya bolta he Swayam? Sharon ke sath rehna he kya?
Swayam: Yar rehna to he par tumhe pata he na wo kesi he. Muje dar lagta he ki firse aag ubalne lagi to me to mar jauga.
Rey: (takes Swayam closer) Are Swayam na mat bol yar. Yahi mauka he. Usase bat kar na. (They exchange looks and at last Swayam agrees.)
So after the party. Vicky takes Neha for a walk. Nilesh and Simmi go in the garden for a walk. Amar and Rinni also go by the Swimming pool. Bharat and Vishakha go to the basket ball court where they play. And only Swayam, Rey and Taani and Sharon are there. Swayam completely ignores Sharon as he doesn't want her to be uncomfortable in the party and Sharon keeps eying him. She had started developing feelings for him after the dance camp. After their break up she started to realize that she likes him so much and like she loves him. Rey and Taani talk a little too and played a bit in the party. Taani was happy for once. Though they were playing aankhmicholi pretending not to notice each other. Rey had noticed her cutting Shivam's call in between and he felt so happy about it. Rey had also noticed how Sharon kept eying Swayam so he wanted his two best friends to spend some time together as he knew both wanted each other's company. But of course they both would never admit it. So, he excused himself for a while and Taani didn't want to be kabab me haddi so she excused herself to admire the house. Swayam and Sharon then. Then both Rey and Taani watch Swaron from another room.
Swayam:(What should I do? Talk to her or not)
Sharon: (Why doesn't he talk?)
For a while both wonder what are they supposed to do. But then Swayam thinks that's it and says: um...
But before he can start conversation Nil and Simmi comes. Rey watched all this and got irritated. So, he made a new plan. When everyone went home. He went outside and punctured both Sharon and Swayam's car so that no one can go home in car. When Sharon's driver noticed this, he told Sharon about it and Rey told Swayam to go with Sharon as a girl shouldn't go home alone at the night. He also told Taani to tell Swayam that she will come home a little late for 2 reasons. One he wanted time with her and second for Swayam and Sharon. Of course he told her second reason only and she agreed.
Swayam: But Taani?
Taani: Bhai wo wona muje Rey se kuch kam he. Muje ek purani report nahi mil rahi thi to. Me bad me aa jaugi.
Swayam: Par tum akele
Rey: Dude, don't worry I will drop her afterwards. Okay then
Sharon: Ok cool bye Rey, Taani
Rey and Taani: Bye
Now, after Sharon and Swayam are gone walking. Rey and Taani smirk at each other. And then eyelock. Shivam calls Taani. They snap out of it. Taani looks at the phone and she knew that if she didn't pick the phone now then Rey will ask questions so she was thinking what to do. Rey also knew that it was Shivam by the look on Taani's face and it angered him. So,
Rey: You should answer your boyfriend. Bichara pareshan ho raha hoga.
Taani looked at him hurt. But then recovered and said excuse me and started to pick the call button.
But Rey then looked at her and he found that he has all the time right now then why shouldn't he ask her right now. So, he took her phone before she could pick Shivam's call and cut it. He then advanced on Taani.
Rey: You know what (Taani shocked at first and then going backward and hitting the wall. Rey put his hand on either side so that she can't escape) Let it be. Tum Shivam se baat na hi karo abhi to acha he.
Taani looked at Rey shocked, like what happened to Rey?
Rey: Aaj me tumhe yahan se nahi jane dene wala Taani. Tab tak nahi jab tak tum mere har sawal ka jawab nahi deti jise tum kab se tal rahi ho
Taani: (suddenly then finding it awkward) Rey wo
Rey: (Bringing his face closer to her and forcing her to look at him) Batao na Taani. Kyu tum kar rahi ho ye sab? Kyu aane deti ho muje apne itne karib? Kyun tum mere tumhe itne dantne par bhi meri care karti ho? Kyun me tumhari aankhon ko hamesha muje dhundte dekhta hoon? Aur kyun tum Shivam ke tumhare pas aane pe dur hatate dekhata hoon, par… Par jab me tumhare pas aata hoon to tum mujse kuch nahi kehti. (slowly touching her) Why don't you tell me no? Why? Kyun itna muje apne pas aane deti ho? Jab me tumhe touch karta hu, to kyun tum mujse nazar mila ke rakhti ho? Kyun meri wajah se itni taklif hone par bhi, mere tumhare pe bina reason gussa hone ke bad bhi, tum muje kuch nahi kehti?
(touching her face) Kya tum Shivam ko khud ko ese touch karne dogi? (taking her hand in his hand always gaping for her reaction) Kya tum use apne hath ko lene dogi? (kissing her hand) Kyat um Shivam ko..
Taani: (suddenly pushing him and trying to leave) Nahi. (But before she can go, Rey takes her hand and usko wapis apne or khinchta he)
Rey: (looking into her eyes) (They are both silent) (speaks for what seems like after hours) Tum Shivam ke sath nahi ho.
Taani: (shocked just looks at him) (And then looks to different side)
Rey: (keeps one finger under her chin and makes her look at him) (search her face) Tum Shivam ke sath nahi ho. Tumne jhuth bola? (Taani still doesn't speak) (softly) answer me Taani
Taani looks at him.
Taani: han(and drops her face)
Rey: (shocked)(he remembers that when Shivam told everyone that he and Taani are couple she was looking shocked not bewildered) (and then looking at her again. softly) You did it to save me?
Taani: (looks at him and then just tells the truth) Haan
Rey's mouth hung open.: God, why did you do it Taani. You are mad. Why didn't you tell me atleast about it. Do you have any idea how much worried I was and Swayam about you?
Taani: I know Rey. But it was the only option at the time. You were in trouble
Rey: And what does it matter to you?
Taani: (shocked) wo, wo kya he na. wo…(and then again lost in his eyes)wo…
Rey:( again putting his hands on either side of her) wo kya Taani?
Taani:( lost in his eyes tells the truth) because I love you.
