PART 2

Where is she? I said out aloud.

I was outstanding outside Kriya's apartment. In last few days I had mentally prepared myself to come here and talk to her, whatever may the consequences be. But to my utter disappointment she had already left that place.

Nobody knew where she was. Where that lady Hitler I mean Rani Laxmi Bai had taken her. I had to find her. I went up to almost everyone in her apartment just to see if anyone knew anything. Darn!! … They din't. Lady Hitler din't inform anyone where they going or anything. I sometimes wondered does she have any personal war with me or what?

I sat down on the stairs, tired, breathing heavily. 12 floors flat, they are planning to kill me, I swear. Uhh baatcutter where are you??!!!!

Days passed by,I was going crazier if possible. At last fate decided to have some sympathy on me and I would…umm…Say...Bumped into her landlady one day. Ahh one fateful day.

"Ma'am, do you have any idea where does Kriya..i mean Kriya now lives" I asked trying not to sound desperate.

The old lady examined me from head to toe and then spoke up

"Yes, but who are you and why should I tell you " she said looking at me with brows crossed.

"Umm I am his friend Rey..Reyaansh Singhania, we were classmates and I have some urgent work. She…She was the assistant general secretary and she has already left the college .I am also the general secretary of the college and some formalities were left. So..so I had come here but she has already left"I said stammering all through the way.

"Hmm…you seem like a nice boy" she said before again looking at me with that detective look.

*Sigh*

"She is in Dehradun"

"Dehradun", my heart did a double flip when it heard about her and Dehradun of coarse. The place where we first met. I smiled idiotically thinking about all the past memories.

"Ahem umm"

This was enough to bring me back form my dreamy world.

The landlady gave me the weird look

Uh-oh

"Oh any idea where does she now live in Dehradun " I said hoping she would know.

"Maybe in her old house, I have the address "she said smiling a bit this time. She penned down the address and handed it to me. She started collecting her things which she had kept on the floor. I helped her and dropped all the things to her apartment. Her flat was adjacent to that of Kriya.

"Thank you" she said opening the doorknob.

"Uh welcome..In fact thank you, thanks a lot" I said smiling genuinely.

I retrieved to go back when I heard her call me. I turned

"All the best, do bring her back" she said and gave a small laugh.

I looked at her shocked. How did she know!!... I was about to ask her this, when she probably read my face and answered.

"Let it be mystery and do not try to come to a friend's house by pipe again" she said as she winked at me.

I looked at her wide eyed and jaw dropping.

She smiled looking at me, waved me a bye and went inside.

Wow! that was unexpected!. Well whatever it maybe, I would surely bring her back" I said smiling ear to ear.

"Baatcutter here I come!!"
