And this left me speechless. Its been long I saw any old D3 scene. Specially SwaRon to be precise. It feels good to see some positivism again. Miss the old days!
Swayam is simply cute and adorable.
Kudos to Tannu for this awesome piece of acting!

Thats why we have decided to revisit old SwaRon scenes. Because to be honest abhi to discuss karne ke liye kuch hai hi nahi. And Swayam was really a completely different bloke at that time. A smile would automatically use to appear while watching his scene. Shantannu even though raw was awesome in this scene.

The revival of sweet memories is appreciated 😊

I can't tell how much I miss the friendship of Bharat and Swayam. I love Reyam but one of the side effects of growing Reyam friendship over the year was reduced screen space for Rey-Vicky and Swayam-Bharat scene. These two were equally awesome friend. But sadly can't say that anymore. As u said now a days it seems like Sharon talks to Bharat more than Swayam.

Totally agree with every word you wrote..it took me back to the time when Swayam was our majnu boy!!his optimistic attitude, his positive approach, his simplicity was so adorable..he made us fall in love with him!His charm lies in that simplicity..his love for Sharon touched the heart of one and all..the fact that he 'suited up' just to impress his ladylove is just so adorable..the way he said ''meri ma kehti hai main suit main bahut handsome dikhta hoon'' exhibited his innocence..it was lines like these that has made Swayam what he is today!

First off, hi-fi for the whole Barney reference. I hadn't thought about it before you pointed it out and now I think- 'How bang-on!'

I like this scene particularly for it's realistic approach towards friendship. This is exactly how your friends will behave if you ever happen to "suit-up" in front of your object of affection. Or I can also see it going the other way. They'll encourage you just so they could have a few laughs at your expense.

Anyways, here you see Bharat and Amar having quite a few lines that they managed to execute with a certain charm. Swayam is adorably innocent and endearingly correct in the stand he takes against them and like you said many dialogues that he expresses now marks the foundation of the SwaRon addiction that we all eventually fall into.

Thanks a lot Nidhi. It means a lot coming from you for a novice like me. Aur main itna bhi achha nahi hoon jitna you are making me sound in this post.
Barney would have definitely high fived with Swayam on seeing him in suit. And Swayam's dialogue were really the high point of this scene. Bharat-Amar were equally awesome in this scene. When I look back at these scenes involving them I wonder why CV's couldn't give them a proper story line to develop their characters rather than giving it to some unwanted character.

I wonder why you chose this scene, Marauder? 🤔

It's pretty different from the others been analysed so far. It's just sad that most of the things are Swayum-centered. What about Sharon? But anyhow, you know how big a pleasure is to go on and make takes on Swayum? 😃

So, this is probably one scene in which Swayum has recited almost all the dialogues that eventually come to become the identification keys to his character. He is so naively optimistic and happy about his feelings for Sharon, he might as well have been satisfied just by the thought of being in love. Suiting up wouldn't really have had a relevance, you know? He tells you - if you're that madly in love, the very reminder of this notion is like enough to keep you going.

And I miss the Amar-Swayum-Bharat equation as well. You've written down your analysis in a prim, proper and precise way. Very cleanly written! Thanks for sharing the link. Cheers!

Those were really magical days. As you said Swayam's optimistic attitude, his positive approch were adorable. In fact I would say not only adorable but infact it use to rub on us to as viewers. These were the days when we use to feel happy and elated after watching the episode rather than feel gloomy like now a days. How I wish these day return back.

Swayam/Shantannu does look dashing in the suit.
'Each n every staement that he made regardin his feelings fr sharon was soo beautiful n touchin..' Thats what I use to love about these old scenes. They use to touch our heart. Their simplicity used to dirctly appeal to our heart. Their used to be connectivity with the audience in these dialogues. Miss these days or you may say miss the D3 that use to bring a smile on our face rather than frown.
