Real reason for Shakti leaving the show is still unknown, different sources give different reasons. But it is said that Shakti wanted to leave the show to pursue further studies in dance education in US.

As per the story, Kria is the girl who loved Rey very much. Kria's mom who was shown hatred towards dance from the very beginning was unaware of Kria's passion towards dance and her participation in "Footloose Elimination". She one day comes to know about her daughter's participation in the "Footloose Elimination" because of Shivam (Shivam in changed tone calls Kria's home intentionally and informs her mom to tell Kria to collect the dance mix cds for the Footloose Eliminations). She after some time also finds out Kria's love for Rey. The furious mom decides that Kria will not be participating in any dance competition and go back to her hometown Dehradun. Kria and her friends somehow convinces Kria's mom and finally lets her daughter to participate the eliminations with 2 conditions that she must quit dancing and forget Rey after the eliminations. Kria helplessly agrees to her mother's conditions. Kria meanwhile gives her best in the elimination round and hence her team "Weakling" wins the "Footloose Elimination" round. Rey after the eliminations secretly meets Kria at her residence to wish her for Valentine's Day. But the depressed Kria insults Rey and says she never loved him anytime and had only used him for her benefit. Kria though in her heart felt bad for Rey but never shown any pity in front of him as she wanted Rey to forget and hate her and had thought that this is the only way to break up with Rey. Disappointed Rey then leaves Kria's home.
