Reyansh, Kria and Swayum were in class that day but Sharon had gone home leaving a note to the teacher that she was not feeling well. Kria was really worried for her friend because she had not spoken to Sharon since new year, and she wanted to know how things were going since Swayum had not said anything about the kiss. After the party she had found out that some people had spiked the drinks, this was why she hated alcohol parties, anything could happen and all you could do was blame the alcohol! She wondered if Sharon really was ill because of the alcohol or something else. As they were leaving class together, Rey walked with them and Kria didn't know how to speak to Swayum, with Rey standing there so she had an idea. She pulled Reyansh aside from the others. "Rey, you know what happened at the New Year party na? With Swayum and Sharon? You and I both saw them…" she started to speak trying to make Rey understand. Rey looked at her with eyes of confusion. God, Kria thought boys are so oblivious!
"I need you to go and talk to Swayum about what happened!" she stated simply.
"Kria don't you think we should not get involved I mean they should sort out what happened by themselves, anyways it will be too awkward if I talk to him."
"Yes Rey but it will be even more awkward if I talk to him" she said "and plus I need to know what happened! Why is Sharon not in class today?"
"I swear she's ill?" said Rey and Kria looked at him "do you know nothing about girls?" she said and sighed "just go talk to him and don't tell him I sent you!" she said as she pushed him towards Swayum.
"Hey swayam whats up?" rey said as he approached swayam. "anything new going on with you? Like anything at all"
"Nothin yaar,why are you acting so weird?" swayam said as he looked at rey with raised eyebrows.
"Nothin man,we're friends right? so I wanna know what's happening with you!"
"Okayyy? umm? I got an A grade on my finance paper" swayam said grinning.
"Err no not that anything else? like with you... and Sharon?" rey said the last words slowly."
"oh god. Yaar rey that was nothing, you know I think someone put something in the drinks, Even thats why Sharon is not here because of the alcohol I just wish I could show those immature people what their actions can do to people. She missed so many lectures today, maybe I should give her all the notes I made so that she doesn't miss out."
"swayam dont try to go off topic. What happened?" Rey said straight up
"Rey you know I dont want to ruin mine and Sharon friendship. We are such good friends and I dont want a kiss to ruin that and I spoke to Sharon, she felt the same way." Swayam said
"are you sure?" rey asked "that there is nothing more?"
"yeah, don't worry about it really, nothing can ever happen between us" he said as he walked off.
And Reyansh repeated everything to Kria... "then he said nothing could EVER happen between them! Can you believe that?!" he said
"omg poor Sharon I better goo" she said "i will see you later bye rey, and take notes for me" she smiled and kissed him on the cheek and then picked up her backpack to go to Sharons house.
When she arrived she ran straight to Sharon's room.
"What happened Sharon?" kria said in concern as she came into her room.
"Kria!" Sharon's face lit up with happiness that her friend? was here for her. "im so glad you're here!"
"yeah I know what happened, are you okay?" she said as they hugged. Kria saw Sharons eyes were red and puffy with tears. "I'm so sorry Sharon, swayam is so oblivious! In fact all guys are! Seriously no point getting in their struggle! Dont worry you'll find a better guy!"
"Kria thanks for the support but when you're in love. You just want them. And its heartbreaking to know that they will never love you like you love them." Sharon said sniffing.
"Sharon! Them?! Whos them?! I thought it was only swayam?" kria mocked a shocked look and smiled when Sharon hit her arm playfully. "I understand, and don't worry this pain will go away too with time."
"Kria how am I going to see him everyday and not break down?" The thought made Sharon want to hide under her covers forever.
"Because you are A strong and self confident girl who doesn't need a guy and will wait for the right one to love you forever." Kria said moving the covers from Sharons bed and her body.
"But swayam is the right guy!!!" Sharon wanted to scream and shout at Kria but she knew she was being unreasonable and Kria was only trying to help. "sorry, I know. I cant help it."
There was a knock on Sharon's door and they jumped as they looked towards the door, it slid open and there was swayam standing there himself.
Sharon looked at swayam and back at Kria with wide eyes, Kria looked back with equally wide eyes. Kria stood up from Sharons bed and said "swayam you here how come?"
"Oh I was just seeing how Sharon is and dropping off some work" He came over to her and put a few books on her bedside table. "how are you feeling Sharon?" he said looking into her eyes and Sharon wanted to start crying again. Kria looked at them both and felt sorry for Sharon but the way swayam was looking at her, he was so concerned. She was doubtful that swayam had no feelings for Sharon, but he had said that nothing could ever happen.
"Err thanks swayam. But I'm not feeling so feel, It would be better if you go now." Sharon tried to say as fast as she could so that her voice wouldn't break. Swayam nodded and said bye as he walked out.
"Sharon, what did swayam say to you exactly?" she said as she smiled.
"Really Kria you want to remind me? Are you here to help me or to rub salt on my wounds?" Sharon huffed at Kria. She didnt mean to be rude but why would Kria want to remind her?!
"Sorry, Im just thinking that maybe...maybe Swayam really does like you..." Kria said slowly, a plan forming in her mind, but Sharon's head shot up immediately and said "WHAT?!" Sharon realised she was shouting and spoke again "what are you talking about?! Are you serious? You're joking aren't you? Really Kria you're joking at this time? How could you?!"
"Im not joking Sharon really I dont think you notice this and I think even he doesnt know himself! Thats why he thought the kiss was a mistake! Because maybe he does really like you in that way, but doesnt know it yet!" Kria started to smile and looked at Sharon suddenly excited and happy for her.
"Kria are you sure? I mean how can he like me and not know it!?" Sharon didn't understand how that was possible? I mean she hadn't realised right away but she had realised somehow.
"OhMyGawd! I have got the best idea!!" said Kria suddenly. "Just like SRK said in that movie! Dosti wosti jodo tum dono! Usse todha pyaar dikayo!!"
"ermmm Okay How? Exactly what are you talking about Kria? What shall I do? I cant make him fall in love with me!" Sharon said completely confused.
"I know but IF hes already in love with you? Then we just need to make him see that love! As SRK said panch din aur ladka in!" Kria said grinning like crazy.
"What? But isnt it 'chey din aur ladki in?'" Sharon asked as Kria held up her five fingers.
"I know but we are getting a guy for you? And plus we can't do this in 5 days its going to take longer... im not a miracle worker Sharon!" Kria said laughing and Sharon was starting to smile too.
"Why only 5 days then?" Sharon asked
"Because unlike SRK I don't work on saturday and sundays." They looked at each other and started laughing again.
"Kria you are too good, but what about:-" Sharon started but Kria butt in and said "Uff Sharon please let me have my moment. Dont Worry it'll all work out."
Sharon looked at Kria. She hoped so. Kria started jumping and squealing "this is gonna be super!!" she said and Sharon also felt like jumping with her. Sharon wasn't one to sit around. She would do something. Anything. Moping around was hurting her heart more than she would admit. Maybe she would let her heart hope. One More Time.
