btw Jayathi! CGM ka wives ki bare me kya hua? u were trying to give the info right. 😉

as per radhika there were 8 wives of CGM. we know 3 i found out one more yesterday as Chitra (secret lover of CGM later married her)

hey guys as u all must have read the update by Swetha on Chankya...I just want to add some more info abt it..

Here are some excerpts from the childhood of Chanakya...

One day a kush (a kind of grass, with sharp needle-like top, used in the religious observances by the Hindus) pricked in the foot of Chanak, chanakya's father. It became a septic and eventually Chanak died. Chanakya did observe the rituals but he could never forget nor Forgive Kush.

He studied it, made preparations and stared uprooting and annihilating the very species of kush by pouring whey at the broken roots of kush so that they may not germinate or grow again. It was his way of showing anger and taking vengeance.

The people were amazed to see it. A young man taking whey every morning and going out in search oh Kush uprooting them and pouring at each root a bit of whey to erase them was a sight to watch. Some of them did not like it. They protested. But it had no effect on the mind and action of the revengful and determined Chanakya. One day, some elderly persons went to Chanakya, who was busy in uprooting and destroying quite innocent looking but sharp needle-like kush. They politely asked, What are you doing and why?"

"I'm uprooting and destroying the pinching kush because I can't tolerate anything against man or humanity, and whoever goes against man oe humanity, I'll destroy tha like it", he replied.

At some places it is written that once he was going somewhere with his disciples. He had taken less treaded route. he wore no protection for his feet. A kush pricked him. It was painful. He immediately asked the pupils to bring whey, uproot the kush and pour whey in each root to abolish it completely. When other men asked him the reason of his anger, he plainly replied that "I cannot not tolerate any obstacle in my way."

Are Swetha... meri khoj jaari hai...

cgm ke love interests ke naam par kuch naye naam mile hain...but I'm myself not sure abt them and u know that I correlate articles and then only update posts...

Promise u...as soon as I get any name which has even 40% chances of being true...I'll surely update it...

and Chitra...yeah I too have read abt her that cgm wanted to marry her but chanakya didn't allow that happen and cgm was forcefully married to helen instead,,,,,😲

and for General knowledge...do you know the meaning of the name Durdhara???

I tell u Durdhara means " one who is difficult to resist"😆

regarding the article which u gave was thinking of that.

Chanak died of that grass and all. ufff reg, just that uprooting of the grass by chanakya i found so many stories just putting all together and was like

god too many stories of one history and in diff ways. OMG.

and yeah we both are sailing on same ship 😆 same with me collecting as many articles as i can, correlate them confirm and then give it in the simpler way i can. 😛
