"i learn that there are no fixed rules and regulations for war...to take decision by understanding the condition is the only tactics of war" "you got the right point..war is not same as playing chase its the game of life and death..there are no price for rules..rules are only needed to win the war not to fight the battle."
I bet Alexander saw a little bit of himself in Chandragupta 😃
Thanks for sharing, I love these quotes. How I wish the leaders in present times would think like this. I mean your ideal goal is to win but you must make your judgements based on the present situations, analyse and strategies accordingly in order to achieve your set of goals.

@ fuzzyface:
dis particular para is so much meaningful but it's a pity dat nobody bothers to understand it..forgt d present, even in d past, during d Muslim & British rule, d Indian rulers were more bothered abt playing a fair game while d invaders focussed only on victory..i noticed dis in JKR on zee tv since i watch it regularly, Laxmibai always wanted to play a fair game but d Britishers used tactics dat led to her defeat & failure of d mutiny. (sory 4 going OT)

@ fuzzyface and Polly

Alex ki yeh strategy toh bahut baad ki hai...us se pehle yeh strategy bhagwan Krishna ne mahabharat ke yudh mein apnayi thi...remember how many rules were put on stake by both the parties, and kauraws started it...in short jaise ko taisa mein, nothing is unfair...dharm ki raksha is the most imp at the end😊 c says ends justify the means👍🏼 (no offence)😊

Hey Aru...goood that u updated the part...very nice part huh...i liked tht last part of the conversation...and when Alex said...I also want to conquer Magadh...👍🏼
The Nandas had an enormously huge army...It is even said that Alexander confined himself to plains of Punjab for fear of the mighty Nandas !!!!!!!
