now coming to the story....
Those were the days when everything took time... till then where wud that archer stay... outside the university it was jungle full of wild animals... and this guy had saved Chnadragupt from near death from wild animals... so based on his good deed and on humanitarian grounds he was allowed in the university ... they had no reason to doubt him... but at the same time his credentials had to be checked which they did ... and were quite quick at that ... and at the same time Chanakya had also asked to keep an eye on CG as he knew his life was in danger... all precautions were taken ...
and in the end CG was smart and quick witted enough to not only protect himself but also killed the guy who had come to murder him..
