Hey all, finally joining the discussion here, what'd I miss? 😃 So I watched epi 1 today (will watch epi. 2 tonight) and I must say what an awesome awesome start!! 👏 👏 👏 All the actors are very good in their parts...the photography/set & costume designs/technology used were all stunning and the music was reallllly good too!! All in all a perfect start!! 😳

yes it was really really perfect . what stunned me is the concept of the show. the icon of peacock has its own significance with the lineage of CGM , & it was given an importance👏👏👏

the photography , like the transformation from day to night, from dawn to day , & position of Chanakya praying with sun infront is really really grtt . 😊 beautiful 👏👏👏

& costumes are perfect . the head gear of men was perfect.👏👏👏

the set of Taxila University, & the informations regarding time were commendable 😊👏

entries of 3 protagonists were awesooooooooooome😊😊😊👏👏👏

& the grtest was the reflection of the economy at the time of Nanda dynasty . coz then the difference will be marked during Golden Age of Guptas👏👏👏👏

Thanks for the warm welcome you guys!! 🤗

So I have watched epi. 2 and felt the same way...I'm still awed by the research that must've gone into making this show because everything seems perfect so far!! I must applaud the efforts of everyone behind this 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 The story in moving along nicely and I like the fact that they didn't show Chanakya meeting CGM right away...Chanakya still has to search for the one he's looking for. The actor playing Chankya is awesome, he has kept Chanakya's observant nature intact perfectly (I have read that Chankya is a keen observer of everything that goes on around him).

The kid who plays CGM is good too! He portrays Chandragupta's bravery, astuteness as well as his emotional side (of missing his mother) very well!

But I must say that actor that plays Dhananand took the cake away!! He is sooooo good it's scary! Especially in the part where he acted as both male and female. At first I couldn't tell...it was only when they showed him changing sides then I realized it was the same actor. Then when he stretched out his tongue after ordering Chankya's assassination...that part he looked soo menacing!! I got the chills! 😳

I agree with your each & every word Vedo .. & sagars are really master wen it comes to situations like this ... it was the same in PRC & DV too .. they didnt meet right away . this drama they create gives oomph to the situation ....😊
& its always the duty of the director to pull out the best within an actor ... & this is exactly what was done here . the whole situation was created giving him enough arena to perform & He didnt dissapoint at all 😊👏. he went into the character pulled up the situation to the optimum while playing the twin characters & slowly came down with d declaration of strangling of Chanakya . ending up showing his best as a devil .. & grinning away ..👏👏👏 Just awesme👏👏👏👏⭐️
