I still think this is Ck's layout.He might have, Intercepted Helena's letter to Selucus, and have obviously confronted her.

Helena would given him the reason, how Chandra is not ready to give her sisu.

So he lays his plan in motion,

Convinces her that C would never give her sisu , until Nandini is around. So ask for her expel, and she can have her way once N is out.

And Selucus might be playing along as per Ck's plan.

I bet CK knows about Nand's action.

So now Chandra cornered...everything playing out smooth.And he convinces Chandra to accept H's proposal.

And he knowing inside out, how Chandra would react and ask Selucus 's help to root out Nand.

You can notice a kind of victorious smile on CK at end .
