That gives me another of my crazy plot ideas. Here is MY CLIFFHANGER!

Roopa has completely taken Nandini's place in two weeks time. She kidnaps Nandini and keeps her hidden for the time being. When she thinks it is safe, she smuggles her off the palace and drags Nandini to a cliff from which she intends to push her down.

In this process, she loses her balance too, and both Nandini and Roopa are hanging on to a single branch on either side. The branch starts breaking from the middle. Chandra who is following has reached there by now. He is terribly shocked to see two Nandinis. The camera pans round and round.

Roopa claims she is Nandini and asks him to save her while Nandini being Nandini asks him to save her. Nandini tries to convince narrating a few things while Roopa also does the same. At the nick of the moment, Chandra identifies the real Nandini and pulls her up while the false Nandini or Roopa falls into the abyss and dies. There ends the story of the nuisance called Roopa.

I think if your cliffhanger were to be the story that is to come, i will have mini heart attack watching it. For I am sure Rajat will do his magic as the panicked confused hero who has to make a microsecond decision who to save.

Lord, I wish you were the writer for CN, instead of whoever it is now, who thinks that Roopa needs to kept on longer and Chanakya needs a whiny wife. Why must all the wives of learned man be always potrayed as this unsatisfied housewife whose sole purpose is to milk out from their husbands position? Why can't she be smart? First time I see his wife and she is already stale to me.

Yes, she promised Sunanda not to tell anyone of her 'disease' for fear of them being thrown out. But she just did something no maharani, heck no married woman should do. I do wonder why no one actually see the stark difference in the both of them. Where Nandini is refined, feminine and classy, this Roopa is all rough, unsophisticated and a tad bit crude while in her Nandini avatar. There is some sort of clumsiness in her. She just dont look as poised as Nadini is to me. And i applaud SBP for making me see 2 different people.

TO ME ITS QUITE HILARIOUS THAT NONE OF THE GUARDS, MAIDS OR OTHER PALACE INMATES REALIZE ROOPA'S PRESENCE

I wondered the same thing too. Seems like antapuram of Samrat ChandraGupta houses only huge pillars, pools and loads of flower petals apart from the royal family. Dasi and guards almost nonexistent
