But in jodha Akbar serial all achievements of Akbar are shown as jodha tutored.

Even in wars he needs jodha help to win

Please read books on harem like private life of Mughals ladies once they enter harem stay in four walls for life or travel with emperor entourage again in pardah whether muslim, hindu etc

Other than emperor and small kids below 14 years and may be father and brother the Mughal begum cannot meet any other man

This was all started by Akbar only

Humayun and Babar were not strict with their begums

In such circumstance you show a Mughal begum out in war field, in court advising ministers and emperor

Its not 21st century court its 16th century one and Akbar had great issues in his wives being seen or know outside(almost paranoid phobia) so much so that their names were not mentioned in akbarnama

Just because serial shows anything we cannot blindly believe.

Now they show that chankya and Chandra fools only nandini knows maleyketu only Helena knows

Chandra nad chankya won almost half of entire subcontinent on their own are they so fools to not see maleyketu?

we are discussing about historical jodha for your kind information- also note our jodha was involved in trading business as well - she had a leader ship quality - in 21st century only it is difficult to do your business - imagine she had her our business in that era- what a inspiring lady - no doubt why she had such a place in akbar's life.

if akbar would have put his wife's behind four walls - then why do u think she had her business - some body from our generation went to that era & gifted her the mobile for trading & provinded 4G internet for translation - wow want a thought

if akbar would have writtern akbar nama - you post would have made sense any way

people like aurag & shah where against hindus - they destroyed evidence of our great lady - if i could get better details - we get inspired by this ladies - 👏

be it kittur rani channama,Onake Obavva & jansi ki rani even jija bai in that case or our harka bai , jodha bai

he changed because of jodha - she did inspire him - akbar was a great husband - to encourage & understand a wife is difficult that too in this Hippocrates world where women are treated like sandals

i would like to tell you some thing - this is my story - i earn more than my husband - i am not saying this because i am proud of it - i could because my husband understood that i had talent & he give me my space so that i could achieve so much - now i am leading a team of 10 in my organisation - all credit goes to my husband 😳

Moreove4,, she actively participate in political affairs,, Akbar had given many relaxation to her,,many rules change for her,, she WS the only mughal begum who had visited her mother house(Amer) for two times after marriage,, she was the only mughl begum who had 12000 calvary under her instruction, only mughal begum who had the guts to question and taunt Akbar in open court in her guruji's murder case. She was possessive enough on Akbar DAT she can ouster a fav bandi of Akbar.. She was intellect and had freedom enough to give farmaan on her name.. No she NVR did any war for Akbar, BT she had that capability,, and she had a grt influence on him undoubtedly like his navratans and we must credit her for DAT. I agre JA show main bohot much Jada dikhaya, BT with this bohot kuch sahi bhi dikhaya. and bohot kuch nehi dikhaya in MuZ case Jo dikhana chahiye tha..lyk I can never beilive Real Jodha bai was treated as a doormat by Rukaiya sultan, the way it has been shown in JA.

I think its just waste of time to debate on this topic,, humme se koi nehi janta 500 sal pehle kya hua tha, History is mystery and about perception, our perception are different. BT doesn't mean we are wrong. and I absolutely don't like demeaning any historical character.

salim was never shown Jallad in the show, He actually shown as a kind hearted guys who has some tiffle with his parents for some reason. yes he has a bad habit of Affem DAT too for CV's fav ruku,, and the biggest problem with Salim was the Actor who played the role.

Guys it is simple LOGIC. That show name was JODHA AKBAR, so the credit was given to Jodha and this show name is Chandra Nandini, so the credit will be given to Nandini. If the show names were just Akbar & Chandra Gupta Maurya, then they would not have given credit to any wife.

Well said !!!
Not only historical serials but it's the same story with most of her serials. They starts off grand and promising but ends up being another "saas bahu" soaps. I think she only has two - three writers who writes the stories of all her serials. Because, that can be the only reason behind all these recycled plots/stories.

All i said about mughal begums is what i read in books like private life of mughals, mughal harem etc

Yes jodha did recieve gifts from nobels and had spices business going

That did not mean she could go around freely, she also followed harem rules and harem rules were as i stated.

And Akbars few wives had great powers some were incharge of building gardens, some took care of orphanages and destitute homes etc One of Akbars wives Rukmavathi requested Salim to pardon Shakti Singh of Mewar for helping Maharana Pratap in battle of haldighatti. Indeed jodha was powerful after all she is next emperors mother and first sons mom.

As far as taunting goes when Amar Singh killed a nobel in court and Shah jahan fled the spot Mumtaz told him not to enter harem till Amar Singh is alive.

I doubt Jodha taunted akbar, she was senior lady in court. It must be some younger rajputh wives of akbar who taunted. Jodha was graceful lady she may have requested.
Sometimes men need taunts from moms, sisters and wives or daughters to get them moving 😉

Even the most powerful Nur Jahan and Jahanara, Mumtaz who were much more powerful than a Jodha, Ruqaiah etc had to follow these rules.

But indeed Jahanara and Roshanara had seperate palaces outside agra fort a privilege given only to male princes they were so powerful(in 16th century a lady having a palace/house and being head of house without a father/brother/husband was a great thing.

Hi,

we are talking about jodha as the post you people have made says - jodha was not important in Akbar's life.. any way - even i have read couple of books as well -after reading all the information only - we are posting & with confidence saying - she was a special person in Akbar's life.

the books are written by people who are appointed in the kingdom - what ever they get the information they will write it .

the conversation b/w wife & husband is b/w four walls - how the poet will go & see whether she would have taunted him or not.

she is important in Akbar's life not because she was mother of salim - you are merely mistake - she earned the respect & position before salim birth. she was also involved in build gardens, wells, mosques and other developments around the countryside, which was followed by Nur Jehan in the kingdom - she was very intelligent - dignified lady who could rule the heart of ruthless king .

i repeat she was a hindu wife - marrying a mughal -- how she & her family members where given the highest rank in the kingdom is understood.

her titles

Mallika-e-Muezzama
Mallika-e-Hind(Hindustan)
Wali Nimat Begam
Wali Nimat Mariam-uz-Zamani Begum

etc

she use to issue farman as well.

bloody aurab & shahjahan - destoyed few evidence of the great empress of India - they even destoyed

i head abkar did not wanted salim to be the king he wanted Prince Khusrau Mirza to be king - what might be the reason - probly ruks would have told him.

she was the only woman to have the rank of 12,000 cavalry, and was known to receive a jewel from every nobleman "according to his estate
