Was typing a longish reply...(by my standards)...n lost it...😭
Don't know when I'll type it again

But loved your post Aunty...agree on everything...except that you forgot to add the 5th element..."the purely eye-soothing" one...😉
Everything of significance shown in the show so far fits into this element...the "RT as Chandra" element😆

Also...Padmanand's wardrobe is indeed getting more colourful by the day ...as if Manish Malhotra has ousted Tarzan from the chief designer's chair 😆

Will try to give a detailed reply, but can't promise Aunty...will do that once the "cough syrups" are introduced...😃😆...*run*😆

Thank you so much, my dear Bhavini, for such a warm and affectionate response. Wish you too a healthy, peaceful and safe year ahead!

But the next time, you naughty girl, do not take refuge behind the charming and clever "as always speechless" phrase, and get out of making any comments or critiques on the episodes or the post or both!

Affectionately,

Shyamala Aunty

Kausi, my very dear girl,

What crisp and pertinent comments! I am so pleased that you liked my take on Padmanand, where Arpit was truly splendid, and the Rishysaringa part. The latter is what makes this Chandragupta stand out from the common run of male leads.

It is always a pleasure for any writer when she or he receives such intelligent praise. Thank you ever so much, Kausi.

Sinna Periamma.

Periamma 🤗 My belated Deepavali wishes.

Thoroughly enjoyed the review as always. This time I liked the analysis of Padmanand too, other than two Cs and special mention to the take on Chandragupta's detach state. 👏👏

'Nandini She is, as of now, more of an object than a subject' True!! 👍🏼👏

'Either by seducing power, as with Helena, whom he sees as a conduit to his securing Alexander's help to conquer Magadha, or by marrying into power, as with Nandini' You've summarized his character very beautifully. 👍🏼👏

Wonderful reading. Thanks, Periamma. 😳

Well, Khushi my poppet, I have already lavished so much praise and such gorgeous phrases, if I say so myself, on Rajat's spectacular looks here, that it would look silly for me to keep repeating it. When he is seated on that horse, looking down at the scared Helena, he looks like an equestrian statue in the Roman Forum. But I have said that too before!

But nothing is stopping you from going to town in your comments, is there?

You will never redo the lost post. Don't fret about that.

But I have a suggestion. Type your comments, if they are to be long ones, in an MS Word document, edit it, and then copy it here and send it off. That is what I do with my posts. I can hardly type them in directly here and risk losing them!

If you are waiting for the cough syrup stage, you will have, methinks, to wait for 3-4 months at least.😉

I am going to take all this leg pulling at face value from now on, you imps!😉

Concomitant is something that accompanies something else. Here, Padmanand's vulnerability is the inevitable accompaniment of his love for Nandini.

An ingenue is an innocent young girl.
