I think dear Chandra Gupta Maurya had not any love story dear.
Because I read somewhere that Helena's father attacked on India for taking revenge of his king sikander.
But when Chandra Gupta defeated him then for good relationship with India.
He married his daughter with Chandra Gupta Maurya.
I know many stories have spread about Chandra Gupta Maurya .
Many Greek documents say different different stories about Helena and Chandra Gupta Maurya.
But we have not right enough proof about it.

So sad to see such an influential queen reduced to a maniac. really sad. And what she having affair with malayketu, what? Such an insult to chandragupta and his queen. Helen.was 16 when she married Chandragupta and malayketu was long dead.

Mudrarakshasa clearly wrote cgm never liked dhana's daughter god knows the reason. He married her to secure himself from rakshasa and even after that reduced her to a secondary queen. So I am really surprised why ekta chose Nandini instead of durdhara or helen to show love story and above all the casting of the heroine is just horrible.

Because Chandra Gupta wanted to save India from Greek attacks and he knew that this marriage will bring peace between India and roman kingdom. And I think when Chandra Gupta Maurya to agreed for this proposal then chankaya said that son of Helena wouldn't next king of India.
Because we have little proof about Chandra Gupta Maurya's personal life.

. I agree on the part that he had no love story because he was a warrior and mostly stayed away from his harem to expand his empire and indulge himself in his work. He converted to Jainism because he was impressed by the philosophy of the religion and not because his favourite queen died or something.

kya fark parta hain luv tha nehi tha,, anyway CGM-Helena luv story has been narrate in Epic channel top ten luv story of India.. and I personally beilive,, they were married, they were husband wife, they live together for long tym. so obviously there was luv,, bina pyar k koi relation nehi hota,, and evry person need luv, care support in his lyf, no matter how strong he is,, I cant understand why people think, warriors can't have a luv story... even a bigot emperor lyk Aurangzeb had his luv story...
