A much better episode today ( I think!) And Im saying this because our protagonist did some smart thinking finally! Let the records say he used his head.

Ofcourse,he should have disguised himself better in the first place and how did the bees abruptly leave their resting state and go wild remains a mystery. Aye!

But blehhh. He used his brain. An ekta hero used his brain. We know that's big! 😆

Anyway,so some random soldier is made to pick up a certain princess's anklets and then he has to put it on her as well. That confused me af.

Now question 1,are soldiers universal? Ermm,I mean do they just work for all kings or just one king they are supposed to? *nodding*

Question 2,are soldiers part time daasis? *LAUGHING*

Question 3,now Idk about the norms at that time,but from what little I do know,how is a random guy allowed to 'touch' a princess? 'Paraaya mard' tauba tauba 😆 *SCREAMING*

So we were introduced to Helena and I already know they are gonna turn her into a Ruqaiya. Coz ofcourse therecan be only ek premika 😆 This was already known though. *Muttering why can't we be friends under my breath*

Anyway what intrigued me here was the rabbit scene. This touched upon a certain obsessive behavior and Im expecting this to be a metaphor of sorts to what is going to transcend in the future. There's a thin line between possessive and bat shit crazy. She's a tightrope walker on that line me thinks.

Then come Malayketu. And Tigerrr. (We had a mini zoo in today's episode people!) This scene had me simultaneouslu laughing and shaking my head. When he got afraid seeing the tiger, I was like chalo,it's okay,he's being portrayed as the coward-ish prince here. And then comes Helena. I don't like that guy.

Isn't it wonderful,women saving men 😆 This prince walks around without weapons,but there she is with a knife was it? Anyway,so this was a role reversed version of damsel in distress Refreshing. but not all awe worthy.

You know Ekta,just go ahead and make a show with only women na. Waise bhi,sab kaam toh wahi karti hain har show mein. This pseudo-feminism I don't get where equality means putting down the men to idolise women. We can triumph without the men-shaming you know? Anyway,that discussion is for another da

Then we had some good old school cat fights 😃 just instead of pillows,we had swords here. (I actually wanted to enjoy this,becaue hey who doesn't like a warrior princess?!) Haha. They watch too much Tomb Raider or something.

The Mera Bharat Mahaan thing was going just fine,but just then

"JAI JAI DURGA JAI DURGA" blaring from the speakers. My ears are ringing.

Sigh.

I never wanted to compare this was JA. But it pretty much is the same thing ina different packaging. Minus the bhaashan-giri,which Im hoping doesn't make a comeback in this show. My fingers are crossed.

I liked this episode better I must say. And this one of those shows which I watch despite it being bad and I don't even know why 😆 For the lulz. Always.

If you saw PRC today, I bet there could be enough nitpicking possible today too... there were illogical tracks there too... like a princess being allowed to go on a koteeswar yatra with commoners... and the strange monster who kidnapped a bride per week... there also Prithvi mellowed after he fell for her... there also there was slapping, falling tripping catching everything...

Though I wholeheartedly agree that the stunts in PRC and DV were choreographed way way way better... So glad Sagars didn't get a hold of any VFX men ...

Watch this like you're watching a BB, a fictional VFX-induced another-world mytho tale... and you might enjoy it more... 🤗

I'm liking the grim narrow-browed RT ... my main attraction to this...
