She existed. But chandragupta had no affections for her and she married him after nanda' s defeat. And durdhara was his first cousin not Dana daughter. Chandragupta never gave her respect of chief queen even after death of durdhara.

No buddy durdhara was daughter of nanda and first wife of Chandra Gupta Maurya .
U know some document of shri Lanka which described about ashoka talked about
Chandra Gupta Maurya ' s marriage with his cousin but it didn't mention her name.
Second this document is not also historical current.
Because it has many fault according to date time and facts.

. No she was not. Parishishta parva mention dhana's daughter falling for cgm while cgm not liking her much. Chanakya forced him to marry her. Mudrarakshasa also mentioned Nanda daughter as wanting revenge and cold blood between them . Old chanakya also showed this and it was based on mudrarakshasa but former work is more reliable. Durdhara was his chief consort while Nanda daughter could never get that position.

I m only saying what I have read.
First no body clear about Chandra Gupta Maurya's personal life.
Till DAT I only got find that mother of bindusaar was daughter of nanda.
And her name was durdhara.
So I said it you . 😊

Durdhara was CGM cousin then how can she be Nandini .I feel Nandini may be a another wife of CGM which was not given importance and in the history it's only given importance to Durdhara and Helena .So may be Ekta may be focusing on the untold story of who was Nandini how will she will become CGM wife and his love story with her inspite of she being his second wife or so .

. In mudrarakshasa it is written that cgm despised her which goes parallel with Jain chronicles that cgm was indifferent towards her. The reason I did not read so I don't know. I think ekta chose this cold blood fact and changed it into a fictional love story. I really hate how Indian tv portray helen. Her dressing , accent everything is wrong. She looks typically greek which she was not. She was brought up in Syria so obviously she cannot be a total greek.
