In CAS we had a VFX Lion sitting watch over Dharma giving birth to Ashok in a burning hut, here it is all those peacocks camouflaging rather successfully a screeching Mura in the throes of labor pain from the pursuers and moonlight shining in full brilliance on the new born Babubali. How thick must the wool have been around their ears to prevent those duffers from identifying where Mura was from those cries? Or else those fellows were definitely imitating Gandhiji's Monkeys by listening, seeing and speaking with selective amnesia! There was one more irritating thing that has been bothering me. It is the excessive and unnecessary reference to the Chandra or moon by Mura.

No offense meant to anyone. But the two episodes I watched just bugged me off. Aunty I cannot survive watching the stuff we are seeing at present on the show. I am doing a Harry Potter in an invisible jacket till Rajat Tokas enters. I too recognized Duri of Star Mahabharath as the half- naked Naapit only today. The dress designer and make up artist are surely at fault because Duri is really handsome. I'll catch up with you when the story improves after RT's and SBP's entry! Adieu for ten or twenty odd episodes of Chandra-Agony before Chandra-Nandini begins in right earnest!

Well, one thing is now clear: to wit who Nandini is going to be. As for the tale moving along, there are 18 years at least to be covered before the grown up Chandragupta can surface, even with the ubiquitous leap. During these years, there have to be Alexander's arrival and departure, and Chanakya has to be trotted out. Then his falling out with Padmanand or his son Dhananand, theChanakyasabadam, the famous oath, and then the shift with the young Chandragupta to Takshashila, where Alexander's satraps would be struggling for a foothold with the help of the treacherous Raja Ambhi of Takshashila. Two weeks at least, I would imagine. Let us see.

For now, what I want to know is how Chandragupta, who has already been picked up by his saviour, learns who his parents are.

Ethanai padam paarthirukkom! How else? What for did Mura draw the feather in Chandra's hands and tie the moon chain around his neck? She'll escape from Nanda's prison and find the baby with the mark that will be magically tatooed in the place she drew, and tell him the story. We should be content that the Mauryans didn't have a 'Yaadon ki baarat' song that the baby learnt Abhimanyu style.🤣
