So I am not the only one who disliked the first epi 😆

I legit cringed at the "lovey, passionate* scene between moora and her hubby *don't rem name* were we supposed to blush or what? It just looked forced and bokwas. Same with magadh Queen's affair with that beast guy. I don't know much about history, was really an affair was the reason Chandragupta's father died?! Or ekta twisting facts?

Rajat just enter already. All the while I was chanting that They should have started with Rajat slaying Nand dynasty while Nandini watches from far and cry. At the end of first epi she wipes tear and bcm the BAMF from promos. None gives a damn about the side actors or the horrible CGI. Magadh looked so fake, I thought ekta had budget wat was that??!! And is not this Nandini Durdhara? All historical story says Helen was love of CGM'S wife but the voice over said its Nandini 😆. I will take anything as long as I get Rajat and the story that was promised.

My point as well. If they are not gonna be honest with history, why pose being a historical saga? We have Mughal-e-Azam, Laila Majnu, and other such stuff, inspired by real tales, but have the spotlight on the romance, so that the bloopers are ignored.

They start off with Bharat Mata voice over, singing CGM's praises, trying hard to be a biopic, but failing miserably.

An apt start would have been Nandini entering CGM's palace and their respective hate monologues going into flashbacks, whilst a parallel present track of their scheming goes on.

We came here looking for a love-hate story with some good cinematography, and impactful dialogues. We already had a better CGM biography, and makers should try to cash on the hate romance factor instead of over-the-top historical melodrama.

This historical looks more like a fantasy surreal

First Padmanand or was it not dhananad who was dhuradhura's father?

Dhuradhura here is nandini?

If so dhuradhura dies young at 20 years when she gives birth to bindusara?

Or will there be another dhuradhura in show?

Anyways i do not think in real history dhananand had killed chandras father else mura would not have gone to pataliputra to save herself from enemies?

So chandra had no personal enemity with dhananad other than that his guru chankya had been humiliated by dhananand (chankya was more a father figure to chandra so may be a personal angle existed)

But this serial story shows a direct enemity - dhananand killed chandras father

For nandhini no matter how bad her father and brothers are they are family and it will be tough to accept her family killer chandra as husband and family
