Why are Ahankara and Devi loved but not KWK ?

Ahankara was a beautifully written character who grew and evolved along with the show and was enacted by a very superior and talented actress. KVk was an apology of a character shoddily thrust into the show. All the same, the younger KVK was a job better done than the older version of KVK. When I compare now, Reem made a better job of the shoddy story and script dished out to her. Devi to be honest, I have not seen much of her. I have not been watching CAS regularly or religiously as I earlier used to. But I assume, she is a better written and enacted character and hence many people are liking her.

Who said Kaurvaki is only disliked?There are many people who like her too

Here are the following reasons

1.Her love for ashok is true and unconditional

2.She didn't leave her family deliberately but circumstances made her do so.She still wanted to go back to her father but devi stopped her from doing do and told her to go to Pataliputra instead.

3.She never really became a hindrance in Ashok's mission. Can someone tell me even one instance of ashok not being able to fulfill his mission because of her?

4.She saved Ashok's life when Sushim was going to kill him.She made Uttar surrender and reveal Kondana's truth in the sabha.If Uttar lied about he being Kondana then it's not her fault.

5.She knew Ashok loves her but is hiding his feelings. She just wanted him to express his feelings and accept her love.What's wrong in doing that?It's not that she forced ashok to love her just like anandini was doing.

6.Ashok's love was her goal yet she decided to leave him when Ashok told her to do so.She was ready to leave but Dharma stopped her.That proves she is not a selfish brat and ashok is not her obsession. If he was,she wouldn't have thought of leaving Pataliputra.

7.She didn't listen to Devi's stupid advice and exposed her father in front of not just ashok but also the whole sabha.She even fought with her own uncle so that ashok gets back the stolen treasury.

8.She is well aware of the fact that Ashok has a big mission and she wants to help him in that mission.

The few mistakes she made was

1.She flirted with Sushim. That was the biggest mistake of her life

2.She is supporting her father in spite of knowing that her marriage with ashok broke only because of him.Probably she is way too angry with ashok that she is ignoring thus fact but I am sure she will definitely try to teach a lesson to Jagganath for breaking her marriage.

3.She may have been unfair with Devi but circumstances made her do so.Devi was her best friend and she had never thought in her wildest dreams that devi will marry ashok. Agreed ashok dragged her to the mandap but Devi could have still refused. When she has the guts to fight with Jagannath then why couldn't she just say that she doesn't want to marry ashok. She never expected Devi to ditch her in the last minute. Her outburst was justified.

She is the one who made ashoka believe that the end which not good is not an end

She was ready to sacrifice her life for ashoka not once but many times

Wen he left vishwavidhayalai she was the one who made him realize that his people need him the most

After returning to pataliputra she was with him in each and every obstacle whether it is rajyabhishek or drupad fiasco

S I accept she became the reason for many people's death she betrayed him once but she did it as a daughter for whom her father was a first priority, and wen realised her father was wrong she didn't hesitate to go against him.

But any of his mistake can't change the fact that he is her father

Even after the leap she was the one who pursued him to fight his own battles , she stood against bindhu for ashoka, she was ready to leave him for his dream and the list goes on

She also had many flaws egoistic, adamant and as u say obsessive because she is a human not mahan and she is blind in her father's love as she is with ashoka, after all love is blind

Ahankara is the one and only perfect female character in cas and that was beautifully portrayed by Tunisha

I liked devi who WAS sweet and sazzy during her entry but even she was not spared by CVS she became an obsessive ASHWAKI shipper

And here most of them says Devi's marriage was a forced one, if were devi I would have done a satyagraha to stop this marriage

S she was a lifeless statue during the wedding but wat was the need of it , the ordinary girl who frightened the princess anandhini to death, who didn't hesitate to challenge the ruler of kalinga became lifeless all of a sudden

But I not justifying kaurwaki's behavior towards devi but her anger , what was she expecting a red carpet welcome

Being a woman of BC era she is treating her husband like some vessel belongs to her,the girl who can make ashoka realize his duty y can't his love but she didn't she was silent, silent and silent

are yeh kya sawal hua dont you know we are "jealous haters" and that s why we like devi and ahankara but not mahan kaurwaki 😉

anyways ,jokes apart here is my answer-

AHANKARA- a beautifully eteched and enacted character. every thing about her right from characterization to costumes to acting was perfect. the cvs really did a great job on this particular character .she entered as proud fierce princess but even then she had a sense of right and wrong.ahankara didnt sided with her family in their evil plan . she tried to make them understand that they are wrong and didnt got influenced by people who were blood related to her. she didnt followed her sister and decided to stay in the palace along with mauryans . 👏 really she was very gutsy everybody cannot do that and that to at such a young age. also her love for brother was very endearing . she fought till the end for her brother and never left his side. she was a warrior princess in a true sense who stood up for what was right ,lost her family and was insulted by the guy she loved yet never complained and was never vengeful .anankara s entry was solid and exit was dignified

KAURWAKI- honestly i liked her during her intial days. reem was a pretty decent actress she did a good job 👏and plus kvk entered with a very strong motive . at such a tender age she had the guts to stand up for her family for her kingdom.at that time i was like yes this is what i have read this is how the historical kvk was somebody who was courageous.the woman who united people of kalinga to fight against the high and mighty king ashok for their kingdom.the woman who choose her kingdom over her husband. but after that everything went downhill she broke ashoks trust it was becoz of her supidity that many people lost their lives.and post leap kvk s character was butchered very brutally from the girl who fought for her kingdom she went to become a love sick girl who left all her responsibilities towars her kingdom and her father behind for a guy .the guy who never tried to reach out to her in all these years .no circumstances drove her apart from her family it was kvk who willingly choose ashok over them. she was the one who tried to run away from the palace several times. if she really wanted to go back to her father when she saw him mourning her death thenhisy didnt she .kvk choose to listen to devi about whom she knew nothing at that point of time .she choose a stranger s advice over her love for her father. that itself says alot also if she was really wanted to leave ashok so that he can fulfill hus duties then i dont think anybody could have been able to stop sometimes it feels kvk only tries to act righteous but deep down wishes for just one person to tell her that she should follow her heart and she would willingly do that.this is one of the many readons why she easily gets influnced by others .actually her relationship with everybody even with ashok has always been one sided always according to her convenience .she talks about her and ashoks soul connection but still choose to hide her fathers truth from him despite knowing very well how much his motherland means to him. in the court she was silent when bindusar was asking ashok about theft, she was silent when bindusar and ashok were fighting, even when dharma was pushed by bindusar kvk just stood their like a statue she revealed the truth only when dharma threatned to kill herself but i dont think there was any need for her to open her mouth because ashok himself would have reveal the truth she was silent even on the marriage day when her father humiliated dharma kvk s mooh boli maa

Ps- i found reem s potrayal of kvk much better than saumya she was cute if only cvs would have casted a better actress to play kvk

devi-another beautiful character but with many flaws her maniac ashwaki shipping ,her over interference and her stupid advice to kvk really annoyed me .but keeping all this apart i find her character nice.she is sensible and mature .somebody who never gives up and even motivated others to never do so.she has always been a great support to everybody whether it was ashok,kvk or dharma .the way she made ashok understand that how he is not an abhishap or the way she encouraged him to come out of his grief and fight for his motherland .morover we can see ashok s child like nature only with devi who handles him with a lot of maturity .after dharma it is only she who can make ashok do things which he wouldnt have done otherwise plus i have never see her complain no matter how much she might have suffered .devi s relationship with everybody has always been geniune she is somebody who would do anything for the people she loves even sacrifice her life .some people blame het for marrying ashok and betraying kvk but at that time she was only fullfilling the promise she gave to her kaki whom she treats like a mother .and the biggest point is that she never really uttered the word "yes" lastly, kajal is nice actress who does her job well she is beautiful plus her smile and voice is very captivating

coming to chemistry sid-reem had a cute chemisty i loved their childish fight but it could not match with sid-tunisha s chemistry

saumya-mohit doesnt even have a chemistry forget matching with intense chemistry of kajal-mohit

I am a Ashvi shipper. I also like Ashkara but not Ashwaki. Its not the actress but its the written character which earns hate. I hate the fact that some time before she was getting a part in montages and higher screen space than even Ashok. If this happened during her track only then it would have been better but the force addition of hers in every scene irritates me. Its a very much used formula show a love story and earn more trps but here its not needed. If her entry would have been in the needed time and the love track had not disturbed the show I would have never ever hated her. Its all about how much she loves Ashok, how she can do everything for him, she is so strong but to me she looks chipku. The young Kaurawaki never left alone Ashok and the old does not do anything except think about him.

Ahankara is the most well written female character among three. Devi good and in the initial days she came out very good but after meeting Kaurawaki I can see her every alternate dialogue having her name. I don't know was it to glorify Kvk or was it that for the CVs Devi and Ashok other wives are not important that they almost ruined Devi.

And her obnoxious necklace which she gifted Ashok saying it was good luck..LOL it only brought bad luck to Ashok. After wearing it he went back TO PP.What did he get? Insults. He was thrown away from the kingdom was treated like a dirt. He was sent away from his kingdom for so many years...Such bad luck..Poor Ashok. 😵 So Hate kaurwaki Whole heartedly. 🤣
PS: I am talking only about Pre-leap not Post-leap.

Saw Reem's birthday pics. She actually looks pretty but she looked so different in CAS. About her acting, it wasn't good but now after seeing Soumya's acting, I feel she was far better. At least she didn't look that weird while crying like Soumya does.

Agree Tunisha is not only gorgeous, she is also an amazing actress.

When Devi was introduced as a chirpy talkative,bubbly gal,I actually liked her.Kajol also impressed me with her acting.

And in the very first scene between Ashok and Devi,I saw huge chemistry in them.

When she became Ashwaki shipper, I started disliking her.

But still there were certain scenes which made me like her again. For eg.,those scenes where kaurvaki used to feel disheartened and devi used to inspire her and tell her to never give up.I was actually liking Kaurvaki-Devi bond.

However, she irritated me again when she started interfering in Ashwaki's love life and got too much involved in them.

Friday episode scene was so good where she inspired Ashok to fight with his enemies and made him come out of his depression.

The best thing I like about her is she is always an inspiration of people around her,whether it's kaurvaki or ashok.

She has a strong and powerful personality and I am glad the cvs r not showing her as a doormat wife of ashok.sh

Coming to Kaurvaki, her character never interested me mainly because of Somya's poor acting. And when Somya started inproving,the cvs started butchering kaurvaki's character.

I don't want to waste my time writing about her but so far kaurvaki is the most poorly written lead character of indian television. In fact,she is the first lead character who is hated by many since day 1 of her entry.

You missed the best part of the show. 😆

Agree with you. Devi actually sounds a very interesting character when she is herself. When she started to live for others, it got ruined. Now that she is back again to herself, she is again becoming an interesting character. Example, Friday episode as you mentioned.

KWK is one of the rare main characters that I am disliking so much.

She looked like Make up ki Dukan.And Sid had gone there Cos whole CAS team was Invited including Tunisha ! And it was his sister Reem's birthday!! And she invited them. And I never liked Sid- Reem pair coz I felt they looked like brother ND Sister🤣 I also felt they had zero chemistry!! 😳

I agree with you that neither Reem and Sid nor Soumya and Mohit have chemistry. Plus the character of KWK is written in such a way that there seems no such real bonding or relationship that gave you the pleasure to watch them.
