"Tum nahi chal sakti humare saath Urmila!" His hardhearted words made her tremble.

"Kintu swami..." She tried to voice herself, merely a whisper, only to be silenced by him.

"Koi kintu parantu nahi Mila. Humme aur kuch nahi sunna hai. Bas, bahut ho chuka!"

"Parantu swami Jeeji bhi toh-" She again tried to reason her point with him but to no avail.

"Ek baar bolo toh samajh nahi aata hai kya tumhe?" His temper rose again and so did his voice "Nahi artha NAHI!"

Without bothering to look at her, he walked out.

Tears slowly descended down, down Urmi's cheeks. She wiped them off, put on a serious expression and turned to her daasis.

"Ekanth." However hard she tried to be polite, she couldn't possibly sound that way at all.

It so seemed that her hormones had waited only for the daasis to leave to give way. She sat down heavily on the floor and the not so complex combination of sodium chloride and water began to flow as if they wouldn't ever stop. A part of her soul was going away from her, in fact her heart was leaving her behind, in accompanying this part of her soul and all she could do was that she could do nothing at all.

Her life wasn't possible without him, she wasn't possible without him, in fact so incomplete. A nanosecond's detachment from him was unbearable! How would she spend her days without him? No! Not a few days, but a long, long time of fourteen years! Why? Won't she die every second as she would remember this separation from him, without whom life was unimaginable? She didn't even wish to think of how the future would be; something which she couldn't erase off her mind even for a moment's worth of time?

And, what about him? He, who was dependent on her for every other thing in the world or rather made himself dependent on her because his eyes never actually wanted to look upon anything except her! How could he spend his long days in the lonely forest infested with wild beasts, the days which would seem even longer without her presence?! He loved her immensely even if his love was innocent and childish and searched for tiny opportunities which would most probably be fights to showcase itself but it still was immeasurably infinite and she knew it well.

She sat there and wept and wept, unaware of a young girl, watching her from behind the wall with pain and sorrow in her eyes nevertheless because she could so well understand.

"Kyun Mahadev kyun? " She looked upwards and questions her aaradhya, "Kyun kar rahein hain aap humare saath aisa? Raam jijashree aur Sita didi ne toh sadaiv aapki aaradhana ki hai. Phir bhi kyun le rahein hain aap unki aisi kathin pariksha? Aakhir kya paap hua hai humse?" She sobbed again and this time the girl so wanted to go ahead and console her as she extended her hand but stopped just in time.

"Aur yadi le bhi rahein hain toh humari mushkilein aur kyun badha rahein hain Bholenath? Main janti hun jo Arya kar rahein hain vo sahi hai. Ve iss kathin ghadi mein Raam jijashree ka saath de rahein hain.Aur Sita didi bhi unke saath ja rahi hain iss vanvas mein. Kintu hum? Humara kya? Aapne tanik bhi socha hai ki hum kaise jiyenge unke bina? Har raat kya ye chinta humme sone degi ki ve sab vahan sakushal hain ki nahi? Har din kya aapki pooja karne degi ye duriyan jo hum katayi sehan nahi kar payenge? Aur arya? Vo kaise rahenge humare bin vahan par?" And she broke down inconsolably.

Now she couldn't bare it anymore. Couldn't bear to see her Mila wail thus. She lost her self control completely-she purely couldn't allow this side of things to take place. She walked into the room and slightly placed her hand on Urmi's shoulder.

"Mat royiye Urmila!" She exclaimed full of love and care in her voice, "Kripaya royiye mat. Sabkuch thik ho jayega."

"Kaise thik ho jayega? Ab jab Mahadev tak humari prarthana nahi sun rahe toh kaise thik ho jayega?" She cried again unable to realize her presence or her identity or anything else in her grief.

"Bas bas Rajkumari." She said patting her back and slowly sitting down beside her. "Madhav sab thik kar denge. Unpar vishwas rakhiye."

"Madhav?" Urmi suddenly caught up with it surprised, "Ye madhav kaun hain? Aur ek kshan. Aap kaun hain? Humne aapko pehle toh kabhi nahi dekha. Nahi rukiye humne shayad ekant ki agya di thi." She bombarded her with questions and exclamations, gradually realizing everything.

"Shant ho jayiye Rjkumari. Mera naam Saishree hai. And I'm your fan!" She exclaimed at once.

"Ye aap kaunsi bhasha mein baat kar rahin hain? Kya bol rahi hain? Humme kuch nahi samajh nahi aa raha hai" She exclaimed confused forgetting her grief very, very breifly "Kya aapne apna naam Saishree bataya?"

"Ji. Sorry...vo mera artha hai kshama kijiye. Main kehna chahti thi ki aap mujhe bahut pasand ho Rajkumari. Aur aapke Arya bhi. Aur mujhe ye bilkul accha nahi lagta ki aap dono iss prakar alag hue the matlab ho rahe ho. Main aapka dukh samajh sakti hun Rajkumari. Aur mera vishwas kijiye, yadi Ishwar ne chaha toh sab thik rahega."

"Toh aap ye kehna chahti hain Saishree ki hum Arya ke saath vanvas mein ja payenge? Kya aapko lagta hai ki vo maanenge?"

Saishree couldn't possibly say anything on this because she knew what the past was rather what future held for her beloved couple. All she knew and could say was that everything would be fine in the end. She felt at the loss of words.

"Boliye na Sai!"

"Nahi vo maijn...main keh rahi hun na ant mein sab thik ho jayega. Aap chinta na karein Rajkumari."

"Toh aapko bhi yahi lagta hai ki Arya nahi manenge?" The sniffing began again and Sayu didn't have any more words to comfort her.

She gently gathered her in her arms and pacified her caringly. When she realized it was getting dark, she involuntarily got up and took her leave.

"Mujhe jana hoga ab Rajkumari. Kshama kijiye."

She proceeded towards the doorway when something struck her. She turned back and exclaimed excitedly

"Urmi, ek yojana hai mere paas!"

Urmila looked up in astonishment and asked saishree, '' Rukhiye, kya kaha aapne?'' ''Humne kaha Rajkumari, hamare paas ek yojna hai! Please, mera tatparya hai kripa karke sunn lijiye!'' Urmila looked at Saishree with wonder as if she had seen her for the first time. She knew how much stubborn her husband was. ''Kya kar lenge aap? Unhone hamari nehi suni, aapki kaise sunenge!'' Urmila flew her left hand in air and said with sarcasm. ''Hum kuch bhi nahin karenge! Aap hi ko karna hai! Bas aap ek baar sunn lijiye!'' ''Pakka?'' Urmila held up her eyebrows. And with the closed door behind, the planning went on.

The whole Ayodhya had been taken in with shock, after hearing the tragic news of leaving their most lovable Rajkumar. Clouds of sorrow had covered the whole Ayodhya. Maharaj Dashrath was not in that health to bid adieu to his two sons, and one of course close to his heart. Lakshman had decided from the very time that he will serve his brother only; but somehow his heart felt empty, he knew, maybe he was doing injustice, made a woman's life cursed and as miserable as hell. All the people of Ayodhya gathered before the royal palace. There was such grief in the air that it couldn't soak any more of people's tears and cries. Ram, Sita and Lakshman had come out to the entrance gate. All the people of palace had come out, except three. One was Kaikeyi and the other was Urmila.

Though Lakshman had pledged not to think about her, her sight always come his mind. As he went near the gate, he realised, this is the gate where they had first stepped together, and this is the gate from where he would have to go ALONE, leaving behind half of his soul. He took the aashirvad of his two mothers but not the of the third, because his anger would not let him.

''Putra, sadaiv apne Bhrata ka adesh ka paalan karna. Yadi swayam ko atyanta vivash lage, to Mahadev ke sharan mein jaana!'' Sumitra adviced him. He sighed and replied with a pale smile. He knew this was going to be difficult, without any company. He knew he had done a grave mistake by not agreeing to Urmila, but later had compromised with it. Three of they went to the main entrance, but someone stopped them and left all of them stunned.

''Aap satya mein hume chod ke jaa rahein hai, swami!'' Urmila obstructed their way. She was wearing a crimson cotton dress of a hermit-lady which was of course a thing to wonder. ''Aap yadi chahe toh hume peeche chod sakte hai, parantu hum aapko kabhi nehi chodenge, Sumitra-nandan!'' Urmila sideglanced to Saishree who was standing amongst the crowds and giving a sheepish smile.

''Yadi jeeji Ram jeejaji ke saath jaa sakti hai, toh aap mein koi shakti nahin jo hume roke! Hum chaaron ne ek saath phere liye hai; jeevan ka koi bhi ansh kisi akele ne nahin bhoge hai. Toh aap ne kis prakar soch lia ki hum yahan pe akele rehenge aur jeeji akele hi vanvaas bhoge! Yadi hum aapke dharm patni aur ardhangini hai, toh aap hume swayam se viyog nehi kar sakte hai!'' Her sudden reaction made Lakshman speechless. He stammered and tried to defend himself, but didn't get any words which can compete with hers. And this time it got more complicated for him because this time Sita heself defended Urmila. Had he the guts to compete with Sita in logic!

''Sumitra Nandan, Urmi satya kehe rehe hai! Yeh bohot anyay hogi yadi weh peeche rehe gaye. Hum chaaron ne sadev apna samagra jeevan ek saath vyateet ki hai. Jis prakar aap Dashrath Nandan ke priya ho, ussi prakar hum Urmi se bhi prem karte hai. Hamara hriday unke bina kahin nehi rahega. Aur hum aapne bhagni ke saath iss prakar ka anyay hote hue nahin dekh sakte hai! Kripaya maan jaiye Lakshman!'' Lakshman was all confused this time what to do. Two women together, what can he do before them! But he didn't even notice the third was celebrating the success of her plan!'' Aur waise bhi, jis prakar aap jeejashree ke seva karne ke liye jayenge, ussi prakar hum jeeji ke seva karne ke liye jaayenge!!'' Urmila made her point stronger and winked at him. Lakshman never knew Urmila could wink! His jaw dropped with recealing for all new different aspects of Urmila! ''And to serve you, as well!'' She later whispered to him which was heard only by Ram and Sita. The couple giggled at Urmila's comment and Lakshman's shocked face.

''Maan jao Lakshman! Tum iss baar kuch nahin kar sakte hai kyunki yadi Urmila ko tum nahin le gaye, toh hum leke jayenge!'' Ram gave a naughty smile to Lakshman which made him more helpless. ''Jab sab hi hamare vipaksh mein hai, toh hum kis prakar mana kar sakte hai! Jo aapki ichcha Bhayia!'' And that left Saishree filled with a big smile and a tear rolling from Urmila's eyes. ''Kya hum aapke seva ke liye ja sakte hai!'' Saishree got out from the crowd at Urmila's signal and exclaimed her wish. ''Jeeji, kripa karke unhe aane dijiye! Inhi ke kaaran hum aaj aap sab ke saath jayenge!''

Urmila gave a smile of gratitude to her which left her blushing at the comment. ''Yadi yahi satya hai aur yahi aapki ichcha hai, toh aap hamare saath chaliye devi! Kadachit aapke buddhi se hamare iss bhrata mein sadbuddhi ayegi!'' None in the world was happier than Saishree who nodded her approval of Ram's words.

As all were mutually ready for it, the only this was left to go without any destination, but with a will. All of them went with a beaming face and satisfied, to their unknown destination.

But a beep of phone broke all the ways, made everything blank and made her back to the reality. ''Was I seriously taking a nap??'' Saishree exclaimed. And cursed the wifi for spoiling her dream. She looked at the clock and closed her phone, and wished that this dream was true.

"I love you", says she,
The earthen vase of care.
"Love me, do you, O Lord?"
"Yes, O my Lovely Fair."
