Guys I'm getting married on Sunday.
I have no idea why. Khel khel mein shaadi kar rahi hu. Sab aana🤣
Now just so we're all clear - this has nothing to do with Chanakya dying right?
I mean, we're all in a pretty emotional mess right now. Forum has lost it's prior glory, everyone's disappearing and losing hope, it's not as funny or serious or anything as before.
I could imagine it now ... it was a clear day, the birds were chirping, the wind was blowing, and the kids in the streets were laughing and giggling. Alakh sat crossed legged in front of the TV in her pajamas, in a completed disheveled state. Her eyes were fixed on the TV screen which showed 4 people surrounding an old, bald man whose head glowed like the fiery sun. He turned and whispered something to the lady with auburn hair, and moments later "Ksshch" ... the sound of metal entering soft flesh.
The auburn haired queen pulled out the dagger and stared at it, now tinted by the crimson hue of blood. She reinserted the dagger once more and grinned cruelly.
Alakh froze. Her left eye twitched, her small nose shriveled up, and her eyebrows danced the song of ups and downs.
"Hey babe!" came the sound of a guy's voice. "Whatcha up to?" He settled in next to her, but realizing that she was different, he silent backed away towards the wall and kept his distance.
Alakh stared at the TV and watched as Chanakya was repeatedly stabbed and insulted. She watched as the oily faced Khallatak grabbed some oil and sprinkled it all over the hut and set it on fire. And then the serial ended. Her face regained composure, but her hands were still in fists, clenching the sofa sheet.
"Psst, Ramu." It was the voice of Alakh's mother. "Come here beta."
Ramu obliged. It was better to talk with Alakh mom until Alakh returned to her normal self.
"Ramu beta. Look at Alakh. She is so fixed to this TV nah.."
"It's okay auntie. I mean, she looks pretty cute."
"Cute? Look at her. She hasn't even taken a bath yet! When will she learn the responsibilities of a house ..." her voice trailed off, deep in thought.
"It's Alakh auntie. She's ---"
"Ssshhh." Alakh's mom said. "I have an idea!"
Ramu raised his eyebrows. He didn't like the sound of that.
"Ramu, go propose to Alakh right now. Then she will get married and then she will give up this TV serial and India phorum nonsense. God knows what kind of crazy people she talks to while on the computer."
"But Auntie, I don't think we're there yet. I mean I love her and all, but it's marriage after all. I want Alakh to be ---"
"Chup. I am now your future mother in law. Go and propose to her now otherwise you get out from my house. You can't see Alakh again."
"Auntie, aren't you being unre--"
He saw Alakh's mom with that crazy look in her eyes, so he figured it was best to follow her wishes. He went back into the living room, where Alakh just stood there, tears wetting her lovely face.
"Hey A-a-Alakh."
Alakh didn't respond. She just stared at the TV, draining out any and every sound.
"So I was thinking about us and realized that we should get married."
From the door, Alakh's mom stood with tears in her eyes. "Jeevta Re beta, Jeevta Re." She covered her face in shyness.
"So what do you think about it?"
Right then on the TV screen, Colors aired a final tribute to Chanakya. The "Akandha Mandala" song came and Chanakya entered the TV screen. Alakh snapped into sense and jumped up in joy.
"Yes!!!" she screamed, causing the birds to stop chirping, the wind to stop blowing, and all the kids to stop playing. The neighbors all dropped their things and rushed over to Alakh's place to see what was going on!
"Oh thank you Alakh, you have ---"
And Ramu was pushed aside by Alakh's mom.
"Aare haat ja!! Alakh beta!" she cried, kissing Alakh all over the face, who again had her eyes fixed on the TV screen. "You're getting married my dear. You don't know how happy you've made me! Now I can have grandchildren!!"
That hit hard and Alakh returned to reality. She looked around and stared at the old neighbors, Ramu, and finally her mother. What the heck was going on? She thought.
Slowly she put the pieces together and realized that she just accepted Ramu's proposal.
Alakh waited for a few days and then logged into India Forums. She rushed over to her favorite place, the Episode Discussion Thread and posted ...
"Guys I'm getting married on Sunday.

In her mind, she cursed the CVs for killing Chanakya. They single-handedly ruined a serial she enjoyed watching, made her agree to a marriage when she was in a state of confusion, and put a ton of stress on her shoulders. She could hear the sounds of the wedding bells in the distance.
Aww Fark This... she shuddered. I'm getting married now... and she dozed off into dream land where she dreamed of beautiful things ...
THE END.
Congrats on the marriage Alakh, don't take this post too seriously of course 😉😆😆. Unless of course I had an ateetabhas. In that case, reply to this and use the words "I LOVE CVs" as code. We'll know something is wrong and will send out a team to extract you safe and sound, probably on a Monday or something. We don't work on the weekends 🤣
