Today we saw how siamak reacted on learning that Ashoka too wants the throne. Now I wonder if siamak only accepted Ashoka as his brother because the latter said he wasn't interested in the throne. He is not that different from his family after all. He too just wants power...doesn't matter if he is worthy enuf to handle it. This is what his mother taught him since birth... he has been pressurized all his life for this throne...just like Justin. I think that Siamak's fate is going to be same as his father. Even though both are loyal...but to the wrong people.

Agree totally with your last line.

Siyamak remembered Ashok saying his new brother might support him for throne, then embraced Ashok!

Siyamak wants throne as much as Sushim. He might not go to the lengths Sushim can go for it, that is cos Helena Noor will do the dirty work!

Siyamak is easily influenced, one word from Sushim, he immediately believed.

In a way good, Ashok will realize that Siyamak's brotherly love will dry out if Ashok also wants the throne!

Why can't Ashok want to be Samrat? Why he needs to always push Siyamak case?

After this test of Acharya to Ashok, even hunger for power will arise in Ashok too..
I am gearing up for watching the real journey of Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat... excitement overloaded..

Yeah... I would love to see a real bonding scene between them. And as far as siamak goes, he is always so scared. Why does he think that he can handle the throne when all he says is "Mein bhaybheet ho gaya hun in times of difficulties"

Siamek for all his bravado is a little kid after all. I would have been surprised if the Lakshyagraha incident followed shortly by Justin's death didn't leave a scar in his psyche.Heck, even soldiers suffer from PTSD. That said, I'm not at all pleased with the way the CVs have been eroding Siamek's confidence and character arc.It seems as if every other contender for the throne is either incompetent, weak, cruel and totally without any merits whatsoever.Ashok shouldn't be chosen because he's the only capable one.Rather he should be the best out of a bunch of worthy contenders.

'A little kid' This is exactly what I am saying. He is being pressurized to fit shoes much bigger than his own. So much that he doesn't even realizes that he is actually not ready for that kind of power. He doesn't have an opinion of his own and is swayed according to the wishes of others. We saw how easily Sushim got him to believe that Ashoka is just using him. He has a long way to go. He needs to live... be a kid that he is instead of indulging in this mad throne race.

I doubt anyone in that palace(except Subhrasi) has their heads screwed right. All of them has been brought up (brainwashed) into thinking that the Simhasen is HIS birthright and to hell with his brothers. As for Siamek being shown so gullible I'd blame the CVs for that. His character is being torn to shreds to prop up Ashok.
