one possibility i can think of for the inconsistencies is, cvs are trying to keep both sushkara and ashkara fans happy.

then there is a fan grp who r sushim lovers but don't like him with ahankara, uske agle din they are keeping in mind those who like to see sushim having feeling for her...

they want to balance between all fan grps... Trying to make sushkara fans happy by arranging marriage between both and ashkara fans by showing ahankara's concern for Ashok. But they don't hv such brilliant minds with them to stitch such a plot
