Sid is magic. Episode started with Ashoka sitting on horse looking at Pataliputra on the horizon... Just the look in his eyes

Episodes like today's is why historicals rock

His grasp on character... A single look speaks volumes... The look he gave to the horizon and the way he rode in

The look in his eyes as he took in the panoramic view of the entire kingdom , his kingdom , the resolve , understanding , pain , and a lot of unsaid unnamed feelings emotions that can not be done justice with through any dialogs , but only through emoting , n there Siddharth n Ashok merged into one. And the director n cameraman also did us good by capturing the somberness of the moment in the correct way.

This scene n right followed byAshok's horse riding scene are gnna haunt my dreams n day dreams for a long time.

P.S- Not gonna bother watching after leap. Watching only for SN PS n MJ, SN mainly. 😃

Yes truly...I am absolutely loving Ashoka currently... Knock on wood cos CVS can go on tangent anytime! Still Ashoka currently is all about politics royalty plotting and amazing characters... Everything a historical should have

Like I said , till now it looked n felt like a cheap soap opera with historical costumes 😆 , with importance on lesser characters n story ka to kahi koi aata pata nahi ! 🥱

Ab ja kar show Historical lag raha hai ! Kya hua CVs ?? Akkal kya finally thikanein pe aa gaya ratings dekh kar ?? 😉 😆

I absolutely loved when Ashok said Rajkumar bad me pehle ek achha beta to banu

The way Chanakya knew Ashoka knows by just a glance.

The way Chanakya spoke with him explaining everything

The way Ashoka was at pains for his parents for having to go thru this and asked Chanakya why he did nothing? Ashoka is not thinking for a second that he is Rajkumar now, it doesn't matter much to him at this moment, his parents do

and How nice to say Rajkumar Ashok. The Pitaji by Ashok in yday's epi was nectar and today Chanakya calling him Rajkumar! Wow!

Again the Tilak for the future king. So many poignant scenes. Just overwhelming.

Totally super super awesome episode.👏👏

What acting, what expressions, perfecttt voice modulation, what deep dialogues...this must be the 100th time I am mentioning Sid managing to hold his own with Manojji in the same frame.

The show may have deviated from historical books and purists do have many a reason to complain, but when you have such amazing talent delivering such larger than life characters...alls forgiven. This is what is called entertainment...or else it ends up like a historical documentary!

Take a bow actors Sid & Manoj Joshi, screenplay writers, CVs...you delivered and how!

I was totally bowled over Sid on a horse! And then the scenes with Chanakya from start to finish.

Wont forget to mention Pallavi aka Dharma looked like a Queen though dressed like a sevika. There was a glimpse of royalty in her today! Such a gorgeous woman!

Missed bits and chunks of today's episode due to work.

More than anything,I'm RELIEVED. Relieved that The real thing is finally gonna start.

Please, please introduce grey shades now. Nirma-white idealism suits Commoner Ashok, not The Ashoka Samrat. 😎

Yup, great point put up for discussion . Even after knowing he's a prince n a rightful candidate to the throne , he's not eager like other lesser princes to make the rat-race-for-throne his purpose of life , he's not concerned about his status .He's not upset that he couldn't grow up with all the princely luxuries n status , but grieving the lost years for his parents , their separation , their pain , he's also grieving at not being able to grow up in the company n love of his father !

And this trait sets him apart , khud ke agedusro ki sochna , others are the priority .

Sab ko chahiye ye singhasan , chahe yo Yunani ho ya Khurasan , except , well, the boy who's easily the only one deserving it. Singhasan to uske pass chal kar ayega ! It belongs to him right from his birth. He's not waiting for the throne n kingdom , the throne n kingdom are waiting for him.
