Switching to acting from dancing was just not easy for me: Sumedh Mudgalkar

Sumedh Mudgalkar, currently seen on Colors Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat speaks about his journey from a dancer to an actor

Living all alone, making a career in the city of dreams without any helping hand and most importantly, pursuing what you desire is something which is not everyone's cup of tea. One out of many actors who have managed to make his name is Sumedh Mudgalkar, currently seen on Colors' Ashoka.

In this informal chat with Sumedh, he speaks his heart out about the situations he faced, changes that he has gone through over the years and much more!

How has Ashoka help you grow as an actor? "Since the time Ashoka started, I have started living in Karjat, amidst the goodness and beauty of the nature. Whenever I get some time for myself and am not shooting, I just pick up my guitar and start walking around. Unlike Mumbai, there is absolutely no traffic."

"Very honestly, I was not a nature lover before but eventually with time and situation, my choices started changing. I started realizing as to what should be done and what should not be done in order to sharpen my acting skills and grow to become a better actor. I have become habituated in living alone and that most often makes me feel happy."

Further he adds, "Even more, I have maintained a dairy though I cannot write every day; all of it depends on my shooting schedule. I write what I actually feel and have gone through the entire day. Off late, I have found this unique quality in me of observing people. I keep observing actors on our set, Eps, directors and how do they deal with certain situation. All of these things do help me in understanding the situations and how to face them."

So what is the reason behind these changes? "Very often I feel all these changes happened to me because of the stress and tension. It was not easy for me to switch to acting from dancing. I had no one around me to give me a boost. I am glad what I am today is just because of my hard work and nothing else."

Totally yaar!!!! I am so angry on da CVs for this... Pehle toh yeh log are not revealing ashok's identity also... And herr they are depriving us from Sushi :"""""( we hav nothing as eye candy :'( this is so annoying !!!! Agar aj bhi koi Sushi scene nahi huya na toh i will write to Contiloe!!!!!! 😡
