Radhagupta tells Chankya that Ashoka was exercising in the middle of night and Siamak helped him. One person told him Nirjara did not come at night and she never is disobedient and never did such a thing. Chankaya is worried of its implications. Chankya sees a lion and thinks now what are the troubles ahead and the indication. Bindusar is told that Dharma has left without information as she was told her son was ill. He asks the other maids who tell him they did not know of her family and he is worried why she left without informing me. He is told she went because she was worried about her son. Justine says that why they did not inform him of her leaving as a man-eater tiger is roaming.

Sushim looks arrogantly at Ashoke who is sitting in the class room all sit Ashoke smiles. As he looks someone removes his things. Ashoke smiles as no one wants to sit beside him and he mocks thanks for the respect you give me you all are sitting close together so that I Samrat Vanraj can get more place. His teacher /Pradhanacharya comes and introduces Ashoke to all students. Sushim is annoyed.

Teacher calls Ashoke and he wishes his teacher who blesses him saying Bindusar has recommended you and you learn to fight and prove true to his belief. Ashoke says I will Pradanacharya and then the teacher goes and tells all students the tricks of warfare and how to defend themselves. He calls two students to train/demonstrate . Ashoke offers to fight Sushim protests and teachers tells all are equal. No one comes forward and Indrajeet Sushim's friends volunteers to fight along with Ashoke . Both start after permission from teacher. Siamak protests saying completion should be among equals and Indrajeet has more training. Sushim says that if a newcomer competes against a trained person he will perform better and will be inspired. Ashoke defeats Indrajeet and the teacher praises him a lot that on the 1^st day he was able to perform so well. Then he teaches Sushim saying you should properly judge your rival otherwise it will lead to defeat and Sushim is very angry. Ashoke remembers his mother and feels she should have seen him today.

Bindusar is searching for Dharma and they feel the man-eater is near as Khurasan tells him Justine is pleased and all find marks which look like wheel marks and they come to know that the tracks are leading to Patliputra. Justine gestures and one person comes and shows some jewelry to Bindusar who hurries ahead they find some clothes Bindusar orders to search and find the person . They find marks of Blood and lot of leaves and when Bindusar removes it , it is the dead body which has clothes and jewels of Dharma but her face is mutilated beyond recognition. They put a cloth on it and he gets FB of how she cured him and saved him from death. He feels he could not save her. Kurasan says the tiger killed her and Bindusar says he will find and kill the tiger.

Chankya is shown her ring he is disturbed to see it he feels it is impossible that Dharma is dead and does not believe it and he thinks he kept Nirjara to protect Dharma. He asks someone to go and recheck. Radhagupta says if this news is true Chankya says then how he will answer Ashoke.

Bindusar apologizes to the Subdragini/Dharma's body and says from today he will look after her son and give full protection. He orders that her body should be cremated with full state honors and says find her son and bring him to me.

Chankya looks at the ring and gets FB and says the ring is hers but still he can't believe it is Dharma's body but Radhagupta says all evidence point out that it is hers maybe the enemy has captured her and turned her against us. Radhagupta says Nirjara did not try to protect Dharma Chankya thinks it is very bad/oppression and he will be the one to tell Ashoke of his mother's death as he had promised Ashoke he will look after her safety. Ashoke is shown totally devastated.

PRECAP Helene says Ashoke will be broken to hear his mother's death. Chankya says he will try to run away from Patliputra and Ashoke is shown going away in a cart. He sees a women from back and runs to her saying mother I know you are alive then his face changes expression (probably not his mother).
