Why watching CAS?: I want to know more about Ashoka and his impact on history, how he created his empire and how he changed so dramatically from the conqueror to a Buddhist. I know I'm not going to get everything I want and I won't be able to understand half of it but I have a feeling this forum will help me in finding more about such a defining figure of history. 😊

Why watching CAS: This era has intricately magical and pure vibes and ambience. I've been in incredible love with the History of this age after watching the epic serial, Chandragupta Maurya, which was scraped untimely, shattering our hopes of seeing CGM and the scholar Chanakya reaching their goal of 'Akhand Bharat'. So, here I'm in search of that magic being recreated in order to fill in the void that ending of CGM created.

Needless to say, I'm an incredibly insane lover of Indian History and Ashoka is one of those kings under whose reign, India was the most prosperous. Of course who can forget these lines said for Ashoka The Great by H. G. Wells, "Amidst the tens of thousands of names of monarchs that crowd the columns of history, their majesties and graciousnesses and serenities and royal highnesses and the like, the name of Ashoka shines, and shines, almost alone, a star."

Here because I love historicals Watch JA MP Siyasat now this and also watched some more like CB saw both season one and two PSH and some more. The story direction attracts me the minute it goes haywire I tend to loose interest. I also watch some others shows as well

Why watching CAS?: Its something new. We watch serials abt a lot of kings and all of them have some or the other kind of similar traits. King Ashoka is something different. And his life is telecasted for the first time.

P.S: I m curious to knw abt his life 😛
