BTW, Chanakya's role is really confusing me a little. 😕 He is supposed to have such a strong and radiant character.
Anyways, I could not have been able to wait for the little Ashoka to pop on our screens! So the pace is not a problem ateast for me. 😊
P.S. I want to see more of Bindusara and Dharma's scene!!!!! Beautiful couple they make.

What a great start to the serial. It was such a great watching experience. Great costumes, great sets, and wonderful actors. I really liked Pallavi as Ashokas mother. And today's locales were AMAZING.

Now whether the pace is too fast or not, we will only get to know when Ashoka comes into the picture. I am really keen on seeing how they continue with the serial, does the serial have finite episodes, or is it the 'we'll cross that bridge when we come there' types. 😕 But whatever it is, it was a brilliant episode. Serials usually fail to deliver in the first episode, and only catch pace later, but Ashoka has started with a BANG.

The episode was great, and my doubts are along the same lines as yours. I am very confused, when Chanakya stopped Bindusara, was it in Magadh or some where else? And about Bindusara lying on that rock, I think they weren't going int he same time frame on both sides. 😕

Hoping for the best and waiting for Siddarth's entry. 😎

I like that they're going at a fast pace to develop the story. I've found that usually they go a bit faster at the beginning and then slow down after the first 2 weeks or so. So I hope they do that well.
