Her head tilted and before she woke up because of no support to her head, he rushed to let her head get the support from his shoulder. He just loved looking at her while she slept. He took her hand in his, which he was not allowed to hold in hand five minuts ago, because they were sitting in a bus… He caressed it and then closed his eyes to enjoy the moment of peace. "Shimla is here," they woke up because of this loud scream! They woke up looking at each other. Five days of amazing moments were over and normality was waiting for them. He looked into her eyes, only to find support and love. He took a deep breath and then both of them went home.

As soon as they had reached the main door, the welcome commit was waiting for them. "So finally have you decided to come?" was the first welcome remark they heard from none other than CC. "Where have u been, I find u so irresponsible Viren…" DS was just started, "Is this the way to behave… Just vanish, let no one know anything? Is this the way to treat your wife?" – Everyone knew that DS was oldfashioned, but his anger, the loud voice, the dispise of what had been done was apparent… No one dare to say him against; not even in the past when he decided to send Viren to Boarding School.

"But…" Nivedita was interrupted by DS "Do you want to take his side now? No one knew where you two were… Siddhart and Divya has to cut their vacation short because of you two?" DS was so angry… He had seen problems between Siddhart and Divya getting bigger and knowing the reason behind, he just went from angry to mad. "You have to say sorry to Siddhart, Viren…" The order was given. Nivedita took Virens hand in her hand, "But why Dada ji?…" She was crying… "We had told Chachi ji about it," she was looking pleading towards VD. "So now you want to tell me that you too have begun irresponsible as Viren? I had not expected this from you!" DS was looking into her eyes and VD said, "They are kids and they had told me about it… It was Viren's surprise for Nivedita and he was with her all the time, so why worry?"

DS did not like VD taking Viren's side… He looked at Viren and asked him to apologise again, Viren looked at DS and then he started to leave from the hall. He still had Nivedita's hand in his, and when he realised that, he stopped and looked at DS and said, "She is my wife and I can take her anywhere I like; the responsibility of her protection is mine, I do not see why someone let our, mine and Nivedita, decision to affect his life." He did not stop there and while passing by VD, he looked in her eyes, did let go of Nivedita's hand and went upstairs.

He had a blast of thoughts in his head! Did Siddhart knew about attack on Nivedita or did he not? Things were getting more complicated… Top of all that, to deal with DS and his accusations… Last time it happend the same way… But not this time, not this time was he allowing ANYONE to take Nivedita away from him!

VD was left with Nivedita, and she knew how delicate Nivedita's heart was. Nivedita embraced her and cried… "It is not his fault, he just wanted to show me all those things which I had not been a part of… Why is he being punished like that?" VD caressed her and said, "Don't worry Nivi, everything will be alright! DS has only been worried about you too…" "But…" Nivedita had only said that when VD interrupted her and said "Go upstairs…, I will come in a minut"

Without saying anything Nivedita went upstairs, while VD went to calm DS and rest of the family…

Somewhat nervous she went upstairs… She couldn't believe him letting go of her hand, but then his words… He was so complicated! He was standing there, beside the window; he had closed his eyes. He might not have noticed her coming like this… She really did not know what to do; what if he got more upset if she said something "wrong" – but she had to support him. If not now, then when?

She stood behind him for a while, but he had not reacted, so she placed her head on his back and placed her arms on his chest. She did not say a word; she was not even crying… She was just there for him as his wife. He had moved a bit then he had placed his hand on her hands and both stood there without saying anything. Her hand felt his heart's beats…

VD opened the door to the room and saw them standing like that… She smiled and then knocked on the door. They quickly moved aside, but she did not say anything. She moved forth towards Viren and caressed his cheek, and then she said while looking at shying Nivedita, "Now I do not have to worry about him anymore." She kissed his forehead and then signalled Nivedita to come near. She took her hand and placed into his, "Remain like this always… This is what a marriage is all about." Both looked at each other for a moment and VD smiled seeing them like newly wedded couple!

She started to go, "Tay ji…" She looked at Viren, "Woh Dada Sahib…" VD smiled and made him sit on the sofa , "This is a joint family, Viren. You have each right to go wherever you want to, but people have also right to know and show their concern and sometimes they show it in a way we do not like." She caressed his cheek again, Viren knew that but he just couldn't tell the reason and then VD said, "I know you have your reasons, but take care next time."

He almost cried seeing that much of love and affection; he hugged VD as he always did in the past! She was the mother he never had! VD signalled Nivedita to sit on her other side and this how she took both kids under her wings, knowing that they only needed love and affection! While hugging VD, Viren placed his hand on Nivedita's hand, which made her open her eyes to see him, and there was the first smile of the day since their arrival.

"Now I should go, and Nivedita, take rest…" VD was getting ready to go when Nivedita almost ran over to go with her to help her in the kitchen, but VD said no and signalled towards Viren. None of them realised being watched; the danger was not over!
